First time going there.. The owners were very nice, however their daughter Katarina the cashier was VERY rude, spoke to us in a condescending way, the tone of her voice was unpleasant and unprofessional. Our to go order was given out to someone else, our group mentioned to ourselves that we hope we don't get in trouble for being late... and the cashier (Katarina) out of no where- told us "its not a big deal" because she "knows our boss", "so being late back to work shouldn't be an issue". We questioned how she knew our boss, she told us that she didn't have to explain that to us and to mind our own business. We asked for her name so we could report her to her manager, due to her lack of politeness and her condescending comments, funny faces that she made, and she refused to give her name up, and then proceeded to ask for my name so she could call MY boss.. I gave her my name and asked why she wanted to call my boss, she wouldn't say. So I politely asked her to call my boss for me to let them know I would be late coming back due to I have no food that I ordered 30 min ago. Katarina then said I didn't give your order away, stop speaking to me and leave me alone. Then come to find out, she is the owners daughter, and they agreed that she has an attitude problem and apologized. Please note, even after our order was wrong I wasn't rude and I simply asked that they re-make it and I will wait.. this lady has no clue who my boss is or where I work. At one point the cashier was letting other people wait in line to pay their bills, just to make comments toward us and try to argue. Then told the people that were waiting in line, how rude WE were. THE FOOD WAS GOOD but we were only given a 10% discount. This place would be A LOT BETTER WITHOUT the owners daughter running...
Read moreOur visit to Egg Eaters was a delightful experience from start to finish. I ordered the Santa Fe skillet with toast, and it was packed with flavor—cooked perfectly and served hot. My wife had the biscuits and gravy along with pancakes, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The biscuits were fluffy, the gravy was rich and savory, and the pancakes were light and delicious. Every bite of our meal felt fresh and satisfying, leaving us both impressed with the quality of the food.
The service was another highlight of our visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to check in on us without being intrusive. They made sure our drinks were refilled, our food came out promptly, and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, they handled it efficiently and with a smile, which added to the overall positive vibe of the place.
The atmosphere at Egg Eaters was also worth noting. The restaurant had a clean and welcoming feel to it, with a cozy layout that made it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. Whether you’re visiting for a quick bite or a leisurely breakfast, the ambiance is comfortable and inviting.
Overall, Egg Eaters exceeded our expectations. The delicious food, excellent service, and nice setting made it a memorable dining experience. It’s definitely a place we’d return to and would recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast or...
Read moreNo Quality Here - SW Florida has tons of options and this one is not it! Sure, the place appears to be busy but that’s due to the limited dining options the adjacent Hospital has to offer its visitors. Three out of the four meals had to be returned immediately due to bad taste, tough steak and crispy breakfast potatoes that came out barely cooked. Communication between the server and entry level line cooks ((no chefs here)) is totally lacking. The leadership (saying that lightly) here wants you to just shut up and eat or all hell will break loose if you send anything back, that was quite apparent when a slamming plate and slamming food cooler door and grumbling can be heard within the dining room. sit back or your head will get smacked by a plate full of food upon delivery ha ha - 3 times without an excuse me. Truly if you have read this far, save your calories and enjoy a much better experience at Ma*ty’s for nearly a 40% savings. If you do decide to dine here please check the silverware and glass wear for cleanliness and take a few moments to look into the kitchen area to ensure you are comfortable with the level of cleanliness and if your okay it then it’s on you. Oh and don’t get caught up in the server verses management feud - quite comical. Foodie from Philly sharing...
