We came here late on Cinco de Mayo (a Saturday this year) because we wanted ramen later in the night and our usual places had closed. I had never been here before. We walk up to the restaurant and the parking lot is completely empty except for 3 or 4 cars. Walk in, restaurant is also completely empty. Not the best sign, but it was pretty late at night. We are seated outside. The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic both inside and out. All three of us ordered from the ramen menu. We also ordered margaritas and cocktails. The service was not SUPER fast but it was fast enough that I didn't get impatient or feel like I was waiting too long. Still, it seems a little odd that it took more than a few minutes to bring us drinks when the restaurant was so empty. This was more of a problem with our food, which took longer than I expected. I got beef shoyu ramen. It came with some kind of crunchy topping (not sure what t was exactly) that was already soggy from the broth when it got to me. The ramen was hot but not piping hot. I think it may have been sitting for a few minutes before bring brought out, which again is strange since the restaurant was so empty. The ramen itself was pretty good. Not fantastic but good. I would have preferred more noodles, there wasn't enough in the bowl. My husband got the pork belly ramen. He said he liked it, but the pork belly in the ramen was disappointing. When we've ordered ramen with pork belly at other restaurants, the pork belly is more like one large slice of meat. Here, it was more akin to bacon bits. He said it was good but I think he was disappointing that he didn't get the big slice of pork he was expecting. Maybe it was on the menu and he didn't read it closely enough. Either way, the ramen was good but overall, it came off as slightly overpriced. The drinks were good, although the house margaritas had a strange foam floating at the top that did not go away the longer my drink sat there. It still tasted fine, but when I think about what the heck that foam was, it weirds me out a little. I had a overall positive experience at Lynq, but it could have been better in a few places. I'm willing to give it a few more tries, especially since it's so convenient that...
Read moreThis is the Miss Kait Sushi Roll I got delivered from Ubereats for $18 not including other fees. I should have just gone to Publix for basic vegetable sushi or ordered from Nice Guys Pizza. I make better sushi at home even and really wanted to try this place out because there are limited places in the area that offer decent vegan food. Total waste of money and a complete inaccurate description of the food. Where’s the crispy onion? Sweet and spicy sauces? Is the tofu actually cooked or even seasoned? At least marinade it for crying out loud. And why is there a birds nest in the corner? The rice was hard and fell apart. It’s basic sushi rice making with a little bit of sugar water and clearly this rice was old. The rolls were the diameter of my thumb. I’ve been to vegan sushi restaurants all over the country and this is just flat out disappointing and offensive to vegan food. Lila’s in Sarasota puts this place to shame as far as the vegan sushi but I did only try the vegan sushi and ramen dish. The ramen salad type dish I also purchased for $20 including fees was so sickeningly sweet and of course there was an over abundance portion of that because it’s all noodles that were stuck together because of the sugar in the what I am assuming was straight up peanut butter. There was no bok choy as listed and it surely was not spicy. Total rip off. Won’t be visiting in person. Honestly you should be ashamed of putting food out like this to customers and charging nearly $20 a dish. If you think your customers can’t cook better food from home then think again. I only ordered because I was working and needed the convenience and was hoping for something better than fast food and I won’t order from you again.
Edit: I added the photo because the response from the owner made it sound like I made this review up. Here is a copy of the UberEats order receipt plus date I ordered it which lines up with this review. I am not coming into the restaurant for more bad food. If restaurants can’t do decent delivery on sushi and noodles I have no interest in visiting in person. I posted this review because of how extremely disappointed I was. And yes, you do send avocado out like that because you sent it to...
Read moreGreat place with great variety of food, from burger/sandwich to taco 🌮 , sushi, ramen and even steak. I had pork belly spicy ramen and it was delicious, but the chef could have done it better with the noodle, it was a bit hard and cold when it came out, but the broth and veggies were excellent.
15 minutes later I asked the waitress if she could heat it up for me (make it hot), she said yes, come back not even a minute and it was still the same. I don't know what she did with the ramen but it is just like they just added more hot broth which did not change anything. I should have told her to microwave it for 1 or 2 minutes, but I learned that not any American waitress knows what to do with Asain food!
Sushi was good, we ordered a lot, but again, the chef could have done it better, I am serious.. the filet (cowboy sushi,, land and sea sushi) could have been more a bit delicate and taste better if they sear it a little more,, it was quite raw and chewy.. Mexican rolls taste good but the avocado was mushy and falls apart when you picked up the sushi and put in your mouth. the fillings of the sushi rolls was quite small and the rice was thick. I have tried so many sushi places so my expectations were a little high. But it's Tuesday night and the restaurant was packed, I understand that they were busy, so.
The crispy rice with tuna sushi was excellent, definitely a must try! Tuna rolls were great, if you are tuna lover!
I tried their Mojito and it was great, the mint tastes strong and excellent, my husband enjoyed his gin&tonic with cucumber and black pepper on top.
We came here to catch up with a friend and we did have a good time, its all matters, so 4 stars for LYNQ and definitely come back...
