El Rinconcito Paisa #2 Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

I came to this location on a Sunday evening arriving at 7:30pm accompanied with family. We were sat right away. There was 1 large party of approximately 20 guests and 4 more regular tables including ours. We were a party of 5.

Our drinks and appetizer order was fast and easy as you would expect and without delays.

We then placed our order at around 7:50pm and that is when things took a turn.

At around 8:30pm we noticed that our waitress had never returned to our table. Our drinks had not been refilled, our food had not been delivered, and we had been at the restaurant already for 1 hour. We waited another 10 minutes and 1 of us stood up to inquire.

We were told the food would come out shortly because they were backed up in the kitchen due to an unforseen number of orders received from Uber Eats.

We waited almost 20 more minutes for our food which did not come out at a good temperature or with a good presentation.

We expressed our discontent and they attempted to apologize but at this point we had already been ignored for too long.

Would I had been alone I would have stood up and left but I wasn't. We requested the bill from which they removed the 3 empanadas we had initially ordered.

We ordered 4 Bandeja Paisa of which we received 2 in a regular bowl with the excuse that they ran out of the standard set up which brings it in 3 tiers and when I complained then they brought the other 2 with the correct set up. Mind you the set up cost $3.00 extra which they did not deduct from the 2 that they brought in a regular bowl.

Additionally our child received her food 35 minutes before ours therefore we ate our foods in 3 stages. About 30 minutes apart from our child and about 10 minutes apart between the 2 sets of adult meals.

To attempt to remedy our obvious discontent they offered a dessert which I automatically refused but our child requested a flan. I accepted and expecting a homemade dessert was once again disillusioned when they brought a store sold prepackaged flan.

I paid my bill including the service charge and left, needless to say I will not be returning to this chain and urge others to seek a different restaurant for...

Awful, the Food was cold, the service could have been better but it wasn't our waitresses fault. 200 + people in the place in only two waitresses. Ridiculous. If you go eat here, mainly because there's nowhere else to go, when you get your bill check it well, they ad in 18% tip - last time I checked when you go with a large party that's when they go ahead and put in the tip automatically We eere 2 adults and 1 child. Be careful - when they come back with your card to pay they gave you another charge receipt to sign with a breakdown of 15, 18 and 20% tip to add to that. They offered karaoke and a show, the show is a DJ. I've been there 3 times and it's gotten worse every single time. I ordered from uber eats and it took long the order was canceled on me so after waiting more than an hour. Than I reordered but did not know the reason why it was canceled. Once I reordered and canceled after less than 10 mins because I started realizing my order was going to take a while. Now I’m charged for the whole order and they won’t refund me because they supposedly made the food. I never received not one thing. Thank you for letting me and my family not eat the whole entire day because of your mistakes and robbing me.
