Talk about a hole in the wall gem. Upon arrival you will think it's just a gas stastion with your typical convenience store inside,but, just passed the cashier you'll find a hot case with a friendly face ready to take your order! My husband frequently visits this little shop for Lunch and wanted to share the wealth with his wife since we happened to be in the area. PHENOMENAL! I tried the quesabirria and it was out of this world! Super duper hot and undoubtedly very fresh, packed with flavor and very filling. Mostly you'll have to take it to go, but, they do have a small bar with maybe 6 chairs you can dine in in a pinch. Cannot wait to be in the area again. Wish I could give more stars! Immediately when we walked inside we we greeted with smiles, they were super friendly and helpful. We got a lot of food because we live out of state now and don’t have much authentic/good mexican food near us. We got the quesabirria tacos, beef empanada, churros, quesadilla with birria meat and elotes. Everything was amazing! Everything was fresh and good quality. The quesabirria tacos were huge and packed full of meat as well as the quesadilla was huge and filled good. The consomé was delicious and the sauces were great! Definitely recommend the green sauce. I can see why some people were mislead by the location because it's located in the convenience store of the gas station. I ordered the Tacos de Birria! Firstly I tried everything separately. The red salsa was smokey and delicious, the green salsa was also delicious and bought a sour element to the tacos which I liked, the meat in the tacos were juicy and really hot, then the consomé. When I tried everything together, the consumé really bought everything together. I washed it down with a refreshing mandarin Jaritos.
