Fabio's pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Crust, sauce, toppings. These need to be nailed to make a good pizza. Fabio does all three.

Crust is essentially perfect. Textured, crispy on bottom, evenly cooked, and with fantastic level flavor.

Sauce is a very even balance. I normally like a more acidic sauce but I found myself very much enjoying it. Smooth with some slight tomato chunks to give it a bit of texture. Slightly sweet without being cloyingly so.

Toppings are high quality. Ordered a cheese pizza and meat lovers. The cheese pizza really highlights everything that is great about their pizza. The meat lovers shows that the toppings they get are not everyday pizza slop.

Finding a good pizza seems to be more difficult than it should be. We trusted the yelp reviews when we tried this pizza place. From the front it doesn't look like much, but inside you find a warm and welcoming restaurant with a few tables for those not wanting takeout.

It was very nice to see the owner and his wife personally tossing the dough and making the pizza. Nothing warms my heart better than seeing the American dream in progress. There is some interesting artwork on the wall showing how successful they have become. We ordered the margarita pizza and it was absolutely amazing. 1st time customers to Fabio’s while on vacation to Naples! Being from the South Chicago suburbs, our expectations of pizza are pretty high! 1st off, when we entered to pick up our pizza, we were greeted like we were friends of theirs! Very, very nice people!
