Ordered online at 12:35, pick up 1pm. Arrive, no order in the "Rapid" cart for online orders. Ask Cashier for order, confirms same, hands me a receipt..says nothing. So...I give my receipt to sandwich makers, they do not have the order, say machine must not be working. They will have to make the sandwich now. Okay, no problem...20 minutes later I am finally served.
20 minutes of observation it's a wonder how they are in business. Floor looks like it hasn't been swept, cleaned or mopped in quite a long time, counter gross, donated water thrown under counter w/o any order, signage, etc. (which I found out during another lady's order who was wanted a bottle of water rather than fountain water...no blame there...drink area needed serious attention).
The 2 sandwich makers going crazy with orders coming in from drive-thru, Cashier stands behind a cash register looking around like she is lost, while no customers in line...would it hurt to pick up a broom and sweep where customers have to stand and wait? Clean up a bit from the lunch rush? When I finally did get my lunch, she was going to get a rag after being told by one of the sandwich makers (doubling as a type of manager?) That she needs to check her station.
Horrible experience, noticed on door they are looking to hire hourly shift management...I'd say they need to get on...

It's great to eat at a place where the employees really look like they are taken care of and valued by management. The food was great for the price, and their selection of hot sauces to go with the subs was very nice. I particularly am a fan of the Gator Hammock Louisiana style sauce.
My meatball sub and my partner's turkey sub was done quickly and delivered to our table picture perfect. The meatballs were oven-hot on warm bread topped with melted cheese. My partner's sub looked fresh too, and I certainly didn't hear him complain as we ate everything we were served.
I would describe the quality of the subs as distinctly better than Subway. Not quite better than a Publix sub, although I don't think I've ever been able to keep my sub from falling apart as well as at Firehouse. And on par with in quality with a Wawa's sub, although Firehouse is much more generous with portions compared to Wawa's (especially for the price).

The cost of their food is outrageous, for what it is. I'm just going to start going to subway with my 6 in for $3.50 coupons I get in the mail instead. Bathroom is always filthy. My 9 year old won't go to the bathroom there.
Every young man that works there is rude and doesn't care about their job. I didn't tip in the drive thru and he made a snickering sound at me. Why should we have to tip at a fast food drive thru? This is ridiculous. I paid first then, he went to make my food. Hopefully he didn't spit in it. Then he handed me my bag of food and didn't say one word to me.
Most recently, All I ordered was an Italian on white no veggies and it took over 20 mins in the drive thru. No one greeted me until 19 mins. I think the cashier was making the food too. He checked me out with gloves on. I handed him cash. He kept his gloves on afterwards. I hope he changed them before preparing more food.
