Firehouse Subs CR 210 — Restaurant in Florida

I work right down the street and I am a repeat customer of this specific Firehouse Subs location. Simply put: the food is consistently good so if you like Firehouse Subs you will like this store. Some days my office is really busy and Firehouse will be the only thing I eat all day. In the last 2 years, I have eaten here numerous times and this store consistently serves good sandwiches. If I make a special request for my order, they always give me the sandwich exactly as I asked. They haven’t messed up any of my to-go orders for over two years. It may not sound like much; however, when I am working all day and only have time for one meal.. it is a relief to know that I can order dinner to-go without worrying about something being wrong with my food. First time i have eaten at Firehouse. Got a cheese steak sub. After observing how they make the sandwiches here my impression is that they don't cook anything. Everything is assembled. And that's exactly how it tastes. Big difference between cooking and assembling. One big meh for Firehouse subs At Jersey Mikes they actually fry your hot food on a grill in front of you. Not crazy about them either but it's a step up from this place. Here they do some magic using hot water and heating appliances to heat your food which I'm sure originates in a pre portioned plastic bag. And yes, I'm from the North. Asked for extra side of dressing on the side of my Italian, boyfriend asked for just dressing on the side. Got neither one and then when I asked before leaving they squeezed the life out of a bottle to get barely 1/3 of the little side cup full and then said sorry we don’t have anymore right now because they didn’t want to go look. They didn’t say anything to us just carried on their conversation.
