As an H3H3 Productions fan (papa bless up) I naturally can't help but love Papa John's pizza. My family and I were in the mood for pizza tonight, so I phoned in for a pickup order and spoke with an associate named Rachel. I told her what I wanted, and she then asked me to confirm my order so she could place it in the system. I tried to confirm, but before I could say anything, she mumbled something unintelligible and hung up on me. I called back immediately and it was Rachel again. I asked her why she hung up the phone on me (as I was knew it wasn't me), and in a disinterested and uncaring tone of voice, and without any apology whatsoever, she proceeded to blame it on me, flatly saying "no, you're wrong" - and accused me of hanging up on her. Not cool!
Just wanting to place my order and get my pizza, I decided to stay friendly and joked that it must have been a misunderstanding, and went ahead and confirmed my order. Rachel told me it would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes, and then immediately hung up without thanking me for my business or apologizing for the earlier hangup.
When I arrived to pick up my pizza, it was fortunately fresh and ready to eat, and the lady behind the counter (not Rachel this time) was polite, thanked me for my business and wished me a good night. That made me feel a lot better after the bad phone call I'd had with Rachel.
When I got home, the pizza was delicious, but it was lacking in toppings, size, and mass; the pizza was thin, they only sprinkled 1 or 2 small pieces of each topping on each slice, and didn't put very much cheese on the pizza at all. It was disappointing to say the least. For paying $15 I would at least expect it to be well-loaded with toppings. It felt like I was only getting half of what I had supposedly ordered.
Overall, the pizza still tasted good and it was fresh and ready on time, but they're stingy on toppings/cheese, and some of their employees are not friendly. I work in the food service industry myself, and if there's two things I know best, it's that you NEVER blame the customer and you NEVER tell the customer that they're wrong.
I still love Papa John's, but this specific location has lots of room for...
Read moreThe worst experience I ever had in a Fast Food. We love Papa Johns and had visited them in many places, but in this particular Store was a nightmare. We arrived at 9:25pm (website and store front window says they closed at 10). Door was closed, 3 employees inside, we knock and all of them ignore us, the cashier turned his back on us, we knock 3 times and they don’t even bother to make a gesture to us. We stand there like 15 minutes and Finnaly one came to said that they close the lobby at 930pm, I was very angry at that moment. If he had walkout when we arrive and said that from the beginning I wasn’t be that mad as I was 15 minutes later. If what he said is true, that I doubt it, but if is true that they close to the public at 9:30, then change the website and hours of operations sign, but by my experience as a Manager, when the car isn’t in the house, the mouse make a party. That was today October 26,...
Read moreSo I get specials sent to me in a text every Friday, I follow the link, The app never works to actually place the order (it does give the special promo with no problem) so I cannot get my points because the order will not go through.. no matter what I'm ordering..it says to call this service number... I called finally, tell them the problem and they tell me to call the store! No solution given. I call the store and they tell me I can't get that special (or any points) unless I order it online, that they are not aware of the promo code that I am being given! This is at least 4th week this happened, I've ordered regular specials and forgo the points, no problem, until tonight, just frustrated. Everyone working here is very nice, but Papa John's needs to get their system straightened out! I will ignore or stop the specials since I can't use them, or the app. Called Jenks, got their special and...
