Short Review: The food is okay, portion size is in good range but of course you'll be paying a premium for the convenience factor. Cannot recommend the delivery option at this time for anyone.

I have never given a poor review for any company but felt as if this is warranted. I was excited to choose the delivery option as I'm a very busy medical student with barely any time to acquire nutritious food. I chose the "one-time delivery" option for the week where I had multiple exams and knew I wouldn't be able to leave my apartment.

When I received my food the first thing I noticed was that they forgot a protein potato skin meal (I had quantity 2 they must have missed that). I thought ok, well now the average price per meal is over $11.50 for sub-500 calorie meals.... a little crazy. Anyway I enjoyed most of the meals for the week and went on with my life.

However, that next weekend I was shocked to see I was charged another $128.35!!!!! I am a tech-savvy 24 year old and I am 100% certain I chose "one-time delivery." I specifically recall making sure to choose the one-time delivery. Yet they had my account on a recurring weekly purchase! I panicked and immediately checked emails looking for some sort of evidence but of course none would display that I chose one-time delivery. I immediately logged into my account and cancelled the recurring weekly subscription that it mistakenly had me signed up for, then called the store the next morning when they opened.

On the phone, an employee claimed it sounded like a mistake on their end and said I would most likely be receiving my money back. I also told her about my missing meal and she said "oh bummer"... offered no sort of solution. She said a manager would call the next day, which never happened so I called the next day for an update. The manager claimed her IT guy said I cancelled my subscription too late, which made it clear she didn't understand my situation. I never should've had to cancel because I never chose recurring!! I am kicking myself for throwing away the receipt for that first food shipment because I guarantee it said one-time delivery. Now I'm stuck here with a $128 loss and a stack of bland food that I already ate all last week.

I cannot believe a business would treat a customer this way and make zero attempts to ameliorate the situation. I hope they resolve their customer service and technological deficiencies, I will not...

My Mom just got out of the hospital and my Dad is her caretaker which typically means they are eating frozen dinners and take out. They also live outside the delivery area for all of the food delivery apps. I live in Atlanta so I was looking for a solution that could feed them healthy food that was palatable for people over 60 and that would not break the bank. I called fitlife and explained my situation and they told me how their service worked. They also did so with empathy and were willing to do whatever it took to help my parents. You have no idea what that means to the consumer to feel like someone cares and wants to help. I often feel helpless up here in Atlanta with my aging parents down in Florida. I was able to view the inventory that they had in the store, pick out their meals for the next few days and when my parents arrived about 45min later they ran out the door with their food. My parents did not even have to get out of the car. After they picked it up I received a phone call from Hailey and Victoria letting me know that they got their food and told me how sweet my mom was. My first time coming here was today. I had been wanting to pick up some of there Healthy Prepared Meals for a several weeks now and did not have the opportunity until today. I like the location; the space is very clean and is extremely organized! When I walked in Alyssa stood up and greeted me right away, introduced herself and even shook my hand! I was thoroughly impressed with how engaging she was. I explained that it was my first time coming in, and after a few minutes of talking, we realized we knew people in common. One of which I work with. I found the selection of prepared meals robust. I selected several different ones to try. The first one I had today was the Orange Chicken and broccoli. I will say it was good, not Amazing but good, especially considering this is healthy food. I will mention that I really did like the broccoli in this meal with the sauce on it and I don’t like broccoli. I am looking forward to trying the other selections I purchased!
