I felt compelled to share my recent experience with your service, and I hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements in your customer service and overall experience.
I recently placed an order through Gino’s online, eagerly anticipating a delicious meal. However, what transpired was by far one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I have encountered with a food delivery service.
First and foremost, I experienced a substantial delay in receiving my order, with a waiting time of over an hour and a half. Upon finally receiving my order, I was disheartened to find that the pizza was undercooked and had leaked grease, soaking through the box. Understandably, I reached out to to the Gino’s staff to address these issues.
During my interactions with the Gino’s staff, I encountered multiple challenges. I was placed on hold numerous times without prior notice, causing further frustration. When I eventually spoke with a manager named Nicole, I was informed that she was the owner's daughter. Regrettably, her demeanor and handling of the situation were far from professional, and it left much to be desired in terms of customer service standards.
Nicole's response to my concerns was disheartening. She suggested that ordering online was the cause of the subpar pizza quality, a notion that left me perplexed. When I inquired about a resolution to rectify the situation, I was merely offered another pizza and provided with the contact information for Chownow as the avenue for seeking a refund.
My subsequent contact with Chownow revealed that they required confirmation from the Gino’s staff to proceed with a refund. Unfortunately, the owner's son, representing the establishment, declined to honor the refund request to Chownow. This inconsistent response was bewildering and disheartening.
Upon reconnecting with Nicole, the manager, to address this discrepancy, I was met with unprofessional behavior and rudeness. She abruptly interrupted me, insisting that I remain silent and allow her to speak. Furthermore, she vehemently defended the actions of their establishment, despite the evident shortcomings in the service provided.
This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and disheartened, as it falls well below the expected standards of customer service and professionalism. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of accountability and empathy from your team.
Regrettably, I must inform you that neither I nor my company will be ordering from your establishment for any future orders. I believe it is imperative to escalate this matter in the hopes that corrective action can be taken to prevent others from enduring similar disappointing experiences.
I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to enhance the overall quality of your service. Customers should feel valued and respected when choosing your platform for their...
Read moreOn Friday night, we called to pick up our pizza. Once a week, we either dine in or take out. Well, this time my husband ordered without me, picked me up, and I asked to go in. I wanted the app, salad, drinks and dessert to celebrate the end of a long week. When we arrived, we explained we'd like to stay in and of course would order plenty more (not just a pizza.)
A short, rather unfortunate-looking wash-woman type with dishwater-blonde colored hair flew out of the dining room as though she was expecting a confrontation (?) and informed us, "We are almost full. And we don't do that." Perplexed, I said, "Don't do what? We'd like to have full dinner with drinks, appetizer, and dessert, etc." She repeated what she just said. I was speechless. We paid for our pie and left as four or five other customers waiting for their orders watched and were also confused.
We should have just left that pie and told them to stick it, but I was so caught off guard by this woman's odd response. I simply said that we would not be having our weekly runs to Gino's anymore. The Tampa road place has never been a wonderful experience for us-- orders always wrong, older server very slow and distracted, and very unwelcoming. The OTHER one, on 19, very different experience. Always courteous and friendly and professional and the food outside of the pizza is decent, whereas Tampa road is just gross.
Very interesting, though, that Gino's Pizza gave that woman the authority to decide that a server would not receive our tip that night, nor Gino's make the extra money they would have made on the full dinner, appetizer, drinks and dessert we told them we would be ordering if seated.
Our weekly run is done. We will find a place who doesn't refuse its...
Read moreI was advised from the health dept. they have numerous complaints filed against them when I called and reported them. I encourage others to do the same.
JERRY LOWRY- I read your review. What reputable biz owner would leave a reply like that? See what I mean? He’s an arrogant d-bag that simply does not care. I’ve gone in multiple times and they leave pizza sitting out all day long which is why it’s all dried out and is against health code.
So decided to give it another try and nothing has changed with this dump of a place! Same rude unbecoming staff. As soon as you walk in they are all in a foul mood. Lots of attitude and poor service. Pizza slices left out all day long at room temp. rat droppings found in the dining room, food not that good, taste like it came out of the microwave, and if you call or come in close to closing time they will give you an attitude or tell you they are done for the night even though they are open for another hour. They have no business skills and the way they run a restaurant is ridiculous to say the least. They act like the customer (who is paying their salary) is a burden to them. The owner is a miserable prickk and does not care along with the rest of the employees.
Unprofessional jerkofffs at best! Read the other reviews on here. It's not just me..... EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT THIS MISERABLE...
