We went here for St Patrick's Day - the ENTIRE POINT of going here was to get the beer tubes for our group to enjoy - when I called to make the reservation, the first person had no idea about reservations and transferred me to someone else. I was able to make the reservation, and then I asked about happy hour - they had no idea - so they transferred me to someone else - I spoke to someone else to obtain happy hour information. Since we would be coming in prior to the start of happy hour, I SPECIFICALLY ASKED ABOUT THE PRICE OF THE BEER TUBES WHEN IT ISN'T HAPPY HOUR - they said they had no idea how much the beer tubes cost. Fast forward to the day of arrival. They don't even have beer tubes. We were told only northern locations have them. We asked if they had pitchers. Nope...no pitchers. Asked if they had a bucket - yes...finally, they have buckets. How much is a bucket? Waitress says she thinks it's the same price as ordering the beers individually. So I get up to go talk to a manager. Ask her about the tubes (where I was told about the northern stores carrying them) and then I asked about the buckets. She says the same thing - that they are about the same price as individual bottles - I ask her what's the point of a bucket then? To just have them in a bucket? Her reply was, "Well, it might be just a few dollars cheaper". Ummm...YES...THAT'S WHAT I'M ASKING! A few dollars cheaper is the entire point! But as a manager, she was so nonchalant about a few dollars out of the customer's pocket. The food was just okay. My wife didn't like the grouper - she didn't even eat it all - said it was very bland. Ordered a draft and didn't get it until the food came out for our table of 11.
It would have been nice to know from the first call in the beginning that they didn't even have the beer tubes - it would have saved us the experience...I remember they used to have the beer tubes - not sure what happened - still appeared to have them when doing an image search online and seeing photos and a menu -...
Read moreI visited Glory Days between 5:00 and 5:40 PM. At the time, there were only a few occupied tables and no significant crowd. As someone who’s naturally introverted, I rarely go out to dine alone, but after a 70-hour work week, I decided a drink and dinner sounded like a good idea—especially since I enjoy your mac and cheese bites.
Upon entering, I walked past multiple employees without any acknowledgment. Having worked as a bartender for eight years with both Darden and Brinker, I understand the pace and challenges of the job, but a simple greeting can set the tone for the guest’s experience.
I chose to sit at the bar. It appeared the AM bartender was still working because the PM bartender had not yet arrived. While I understand the frustration of staying late on a Friday, it’s important that guests don’t overhear staff expressing their displeasure or see it reflected in their demeanor. I was there to have a quiet evening, enjoy my meal, and keep to myself, but I still had to ask a passing server for silverware halfway through my mac and cheese bites.
The highlight of my service came from a helpful staff member—possibly in a management role—who took my dinner order, offered a sample of vinaigrette I’d never tried, and made me feel welcome. Later, when the PM bartender arrived, she greeted me, was pleasant, and asked if I’d like another drink without knowing anything about the earlier issues.
From a management perspective, I understand staffing challenges are real, but from an employee standpoint, remember that every interaction stamps your name on the guest’s experience. For many customers, their decision to return is based entirely on what they see and feel during their visit. That’s true in any field—you get out what you put in.
On a positive note, the food was excellent. Please pass my compliments to the kitchen staff—they deserve recognition, if not a raise.
There’s great potential here, but also room for improvement in guest acknowledgment, attentiveness, and maintaining a professional atmosphere...
Read moreWent to Glory Days Wesley Chapel last night for dinner and Friday nights in Wesley Chapel no matter what restaurant you go to you’re gonna have a wait time but 20 minutes isn’t bad at all. Then we were seated and the waiter was awesome took our drink orders brought those back and put or food order in now is the part where they become an exceptional restaurant, the food was delicious and cooked perfect still not a biggie happens a lot , However as we are eating the Manager came over to our table and “Apologized” for our food taking so long to get to us. We told him he must be at the wrong table our service was fine, He then told us he was going to comp both our meals for waiting patiently and we told him he didn’t have to do that we were happy with the time it took but he comped Both our meals anyway. I don’t believe there is another restaurant in Wesley Chapel that would voluntarily comp one meal let alone two meals. Honestly I would have given them 5 stars anyway and still left a really good review because they deserved that but this shows they will go way above and beyond to please a customer that is already pleased . And the staff is no different the service was amazing and it is truly a great place to relax and eat your dinner because. They Got You

Just wanted to say I am here again and everything I said above is still true. Tonight I had the barbecue pulled pork and the steamed broccoli and they were both perfect as usual. I love this freakin place
#best restaurant ever. I’m not eating anywhere else in Wesley chapel ever again until I find something in the menu I don’t like. But so far that’s not gonna be easy.
Thanks again Glory Days. Awesome service great food and decent pricing all in 1. I tried to leave a separate review but it didn’t allow me to do...
