Delicious! I love Grand Deli! The moment you open the door the savory blend of sub sandwiches fills the air. The bread is fresh and the food is made to order. The sub sizes are huge and filled imported meats and cheeses. I love their tuna subs. What makes this an exceptional deli are the wonderful people who operate and own this shop. Gail, has helped me along with everyone there. As Cheers was to their neighborhood Grand Deli is to New Port Richey. They remember your name and are just genuinely kind people. They are the salt of the earth type. I must give a shout out to Chris, he delivers swiftly and kindly. I will be ordering a large sandwich platter that will be paired with potato salad; Greek and regular and Mac salad along with soft drinks and cookies too. I love the neighborhood feel, it takes me back to my youth when I'd go to the store for my mom and got hoagies and stuff. I knew them and they knew me. My husband and I and our staff eat here a few times a week. Our staff is the one that turned us on to this place. The food is good. We went to the counter place our orders. A few minutes later I went up to the same young lady that took our order and stated I forgot to tell you I wanted American white cheese on our sandwiches.Then my husband went up to make sure that he was getting his pickles on the side like he always do slice. Paul who's the owner wasn't at the counter when we placed our order. PAUL Rudely stated well it's already on the sandwich. My Husband responded that's not how I ordered my sandwich anytime we come here! PAUL very argumentative and RUDELY said that's the way you gave your order. And then my husband said no it's not the way I gave my order! I was never asked, if I wanted my pickles on my sandwich anytime I ever ordered. I have to send a BIG shout out and THANK YOU to Grand Deli & Subs! They were true lifesavers today AND their sandwiches and salads were just AMAZING!!! They were so good, my brother who is a fussy eater said "that sandwich was amazing" So...here's a little recap of events....first calls to not one, but two Publix stores who basically said, sorry, not sorry we can't help you. Next call...Grand Deli & Subs, the owner, Jason answers and is so kind and helpful. He literally made two incredible sandwich platters in less than an hour and a half! Seriously, folks, that right there is some unbelievable customer service AND the platters were better than ANY sandwich platters I have ever gotten from the Publix deli! Plus the added bonus, they serve Thumanns! If you have not tried Grand Deli & Subs, please stop by and show them some love and grab delicious sandwich.
