Healthy Kitchen 33 and Baba Shokry — Restaurant in Florida

I've been getting food from here for as long as I can remember, when they FIRST opened. From even my first visit, the service and food were perfect! I remember going in one day YEARS ago, and seeing their new lights and set up, and I was so happy in how much they've been making their space beautiful and growing as a business. I'm vegan and my husband isn't, so we really love the fact that we can both enjoy something from this menu all the time. I absolutely love their acai bowls, this is the only place I ever get them from. Their smoothies are to die for, they are so thick and delicious. My husband loves the gyros. I've tried the wraps too, and the black bean and hummus ones are sooooo filling. Their quality is always top notch, I've ordered from there for forever, either eating in there, ordering from pick up or Uber eats, late at night.

I had surgery yesterday and I really wasn't felling well at all. I had to be a liquid diet, and I didn't feel like drinking a smoothie anywhere until I remembered this perfect spot and I got a Vegan Choco Loco and I felt soooo much better afterwards. It was very filling and also absolutely delicious. The next day, I just had to get another Vegan Choco Loco and when I called to make the order, the worker recognized me over the phone. It was extremely heart warming because they always provide such SPECIAL, sweet, lovely service. He told me he would make my smoothie more special and filled with care so that I can recover faster. The smoothie was absolutely perfect (again of course), and it's no wonder why they always list their last ingredient as love. When my dad brought my smoothie, he also brought a lentil soup that the worker had included for me. Talk about a special experience, you have no idea how much that means to me. Thank you so much. Anything that healthy kitchen produces is amazing. They literally can’t make bad food. Today we had the lamb over rice and the falafel gyro and the Dubai iced coffee. To start, WOW the iced coffee was so good. It was different than any iced coffee I’d ever had, but it’s uniqueness in flavor added to the experience. If I had to compare it to anything I think it’s most similar in idea and uniqueness to Vietnamese iced coffee, but it has much emphasis on its delicate creaminess. The lamb over rice literally melts in my mouth as the lamb is so tender and the white sauce ties the lamb and rice and vegetables together. The white sauce is so unique as it is creamy yet so light. The same story with the falafel gyro; for its price it comes with SO MUCH. There’s so much flavor happening between the falafel and veggies. It’s a big serving filled to the brim with flavor. I used to work nearby and would always grab their açaí bowls and smoothies as well. They’re all amazing; I especially recommend the Magic Maca and the choco or peanut butter smoothies. Also, the service was amazing. I believe he is the owner as I have seen him every time I come to the restaurant, but he is so incredibly friendly, accommodating, and humble. Me and my two friends stopped in here for lunch about 2 weeks ago. Now I’m not one to usually write reviews, but this place I think really deserves it. We each ordered just a smoothie but you could tell a lot of effort is put into what they do. For sure tasted like they used fresh fruits and actual ingredients, and for such a small and simple place we were really blown away by how good it was. The guy working the store was even nice enough to bring us over a sample of his vegan lentil soup which was also outstanding. As a restaurant worker myself (and 4 years vegan), I notice a lot of the little things. A very rude delivery driver came in and the guy I mentioned handled it very professionally which is crucial customer service. Being one on one with the customers is also huge and created a comfortable and chilled environment. Now my original take is that this place is pretty slow, however i do not know that for sure as we came in at a time of the day that wouldn’t normally be very busy, but I really hope im wrong and that they get the business they deserve. But to close it off, I truly think this place deserves a lot of attention and quite honestly from the outside wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as good as it was.
