Hoagie Bear Subs — Restaurant in Florida

Place is run down and dirty to begin with might need a county inspector to xheck yall out! I went in last week I guess I must of bothered the guy for a sub while watching TV on his phone mind you mid day only person in there I got two of bacon ranch subs "straight garbage " as soon as I opened the sub it was super wet everything that I was going to eat fell out the bottom of the sub both of them. I spent $40 bucks at the place for two subs no drinks did not eat the food it was so horrible would never recommend anyone else to spend a dime at this establishment your better off anywhere else getting a sub even subway 5 stars compared to this place...

U should return my money not a way to spend your lunch break got robbed and got two worthless subs in the process.

Overall, their subs just aren’t what they used to be. They can’t even get a simple order right. I ordered two subs with no lettuce—because honestly, a traditional Philly doesn’t come with lettuce. It should just be meat, cheese, and onions. If I want extra toppings, I’ll ask for them—don’t just throw them on by default.

When I called to ask if they were even reading the order instructions, I was told, “If you want it done right, come get it in person.” Seriously? You have one job, and it’s not that difficult.

If you want a good sub in this area, go to Broadway—they get it right every time. Their attention to detail and customer service are on point. I’ll never order from...

Hoagie Bear is usually one of my favorite places to visit for subs, however my last experience was horrible! First off they need to limit the number of people that are allowed at one time inside the establishment, there were 6 people inside when I opened the door. I waited outside and entered when three customers left. The employees had on masks but they were all below their hose. I politely asked the lady that took my order to please pull her mask up, I have never seen such an attitude for a simple safety request. Needless to say, I walked out without a sub. They need to realize that WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC and they need to heed to safety...
