Incredibly upsetting visit. Not my first time so I went prepared to expect service that is not so fantastic but truly I'm not someone that cares if the service is amazing as long as you don't give me attitude and bring out what I ordered, I could care less. My problem comes in when I get attitude that is not warranted. We order fried wings with sauce of the side and they were brought out with sauce on it, sounds not so bad but when we confronted the bartender and asked her nicely about it she immediately cut us off mid sentence and caught an attitude. She said we never said anything about the sauce being on the side then told us she wasn't going to argue with us on this. Her solution was that she could have the cook fry them again (so it would be double fried with sauce on it - Incredible solution and super healthy I'm sure) we let her know we'd try them out how they came out and if anything we just wouldn't have the wings, no need to refry. So she disappeared for the rest of the night. Fantastic. The other basket we ordered had pink in the chicken. Oh and there was a fly in the beer pitcher👌🏼. I don't know if they're service has gotten worse but I DEFINITELY won't be going back. Not a fan of attitude/rude staff, messed up orders, or undercooked wings.
Be advised when you go, make sure that if you order something and they bring something else out that you eat it and don't argue or the staff will disappear and treat you poorly for the rest of the night. Be prepared for...
Read moreOverall the place is a good vibe. The food is good bar food their loaded fries are bomb. Wings are usually a must. Burgers are not their strong point my burger was super burnt. The service was horrible she got everything wrong from the beginning I sent my plate back two times we ordered kid tenders for a 2 yr old she charged dinner. She said it couldn't be removed from check because we ate it. Those fingers went untouched no one ate them. I asked for a glass of modelo she brought a pitcher. She later came with two beers I told her I only asked for 1 my husband wasn't drinking she was like oh. And it wasn't even modelo but at this point everything had been so horrible we should have sat with the white lady that looked to be giving everyone good service. Our waitress stopped by once. The food runner was more active. I can understand a bad night but that place dosent even get crazy to be overwhelmed she looked like she was on drugs mainly bard out. At the end she paid for the dinner fingers because the MANAGER refused to change the price for their employees bad service the funny part is she wrote everything down supposedly. That's what's wrong with moms and pops shop their customer service is so horrible. I told her call the manager I guess she was scared that's when she offered to pay the fingers. And we still tipped the 18 percent i will not be going back! arbetters has better chili...
Read moreLet me just say — the experience at Keg South Homestead was a disaster from the jump. When I called to place my order, the blonde lady who answered the phone clearly couldn’t hear me well, but instead of handling it professionally, she hit me with the most attitude-filled “hello?” I’ve ever heard. At that moment, I just knew she was going to be a problem.
Fast forward — we drive 40 minutes to pick up our food, only to be told they don’t accept Apple Pay… something she conveniently forgot to mention over the phone. Fine — that’s their policy — but a simple heads-up would’ve saved us the trip. When we asked if we could Zelle someone and have them swipe their card for us, she snapped back, “That’s not allowed. That’s not allowed.” over and over like a broken record. No solutions, just a whole lot of unnecessary attitude.
At this point, we were over it. We left hungry and frustrated — but honestly? Blessing in disguise. We drove three minutes down the road to Wingstop and had better food, better prices, and WAY better service.
So if you’re looking for a place to eat without the side of rudeness, skip Keg South and head straight to Wingstop. Trust me, your taste buds — and your patience —...
