What a surprise! Friday night and I was tasked to bring home pizza to the family. I saw this place on my map and gave them a call. There is something very rare and very special with the kind of customer service I was given.

Ian & Kye's is a Chicago Tavern Style Pizzeria, meaning: thin crust, crispy and known for its sausage topping. When making my order over the phone I was honest, I am a first time customer and I would like to know what is good... I didn't phrase it like that though. The lady I was speaking with had a good sales pitch. Through our conversation and my ordering for pick up, she described their food, ingredients, and her personal choice as if she was a narrator on a travel show. With all of the delicious sounding options I had to focus on my mission, medium pizza... half sausage half cheese and garlic bread.

I drove to the area and went inside. A small dine-in area similar to any other pizzeria you would expect to see with outdoor dining. I did not take the time to really absorb the atmosphere and decor so I cannot speak to that. What I can definitely speak to is the friendliness and welcoming attitude that was given to me, it was above and beyond. These people had a family approach which I love. I made the early promise of venturing back to try their sandwiches... so I prayed that the food was good. Just as I was about to leave after a bit more of banter, I was treated to try their spicy melody of peppers, vegetables and oil... I won't dare try to pronounce though.

Becoming the Friday night hero is a magical thing, you are greeted with praise from starving children only for a fleeting moment before they ravage your gifts of nourishment and return to their "fun". The pizza though, damn that pizza looked great! The 14" thin crust pizza was cut into the traditional square shape that could feed an army. The presentation, the color, smell was all prime choices. Hats off to the cook (chef?). The pizza had plenty of sausage, cheese and a lot of sauce. The taste was fantastic! The sauce was sweet and robust with flavor. The crust was crispy yet a soft crunch, like a potato chip almost. The sausage though was the real winner in this pie. It was hard to place what type of sausage it actually was though, was a nice savory taste. I also got to taste that spicy melody of peppers and veggies that gifted to me. It had a good kick to it, you could taste the pickled jalapenos and oily zest, I would of loved to have it on a sandwich. With the pizza I got their garlic bread that had cheese smothered over it and it came with marinara on the side. The bread looked like it would be hard and cut your mouth, you know the kind but surprisingly it was soft, dare I say gentle.

All in all it was a great pizza, one of the best I have had in a long while. The entire family loved it. The cost was on average to other pizzeria places around, even the commercial ones. If you are in the area or down Jensen Beach to enjoy the salt air, go and grab yourself a pizza from here,...

Hello, peeps, Here we go again with another gem pizza joint that’s hidden on the east coast in Jensen Beach. I have been in Florida for over a year now and I have searched and eaten at several pizza joints during my time here and have found two pizza places that are actually not pizza joints but they are in two restaurants and it’s in-house made one on a wood fired the other on a stone oven and they have passed the test as a New Yorker . I didn’t say they are perfect. They just passed a test from all the others because I have had some really bad pizza here in Florida. Those guys should not even have a license to make pizza if that makes any sense. Now let’s get to the bottom of the real business of why we are here right now lol. I was on a delivery app looking to order pizza and I was reading reviews and I came across Ian & Kye’s Pizza. A review from one of its customers caught my eye and he was from Chicago and they make some good darn pizza so he got me sold. Living in New York City for 42 years and enjoying the best pizza in the world has my bar very high . I ordered a pizza to my liking and it was delivered to my doorstep. The first bite had me sold immediately. Wow, that is some good pizza right there thin crust very well cooked nice and crispy no sogginess no smell of any oil or any other unknown items on my pizza pie. Smells delicious smells like good tomato sauce and mozzarella like it should smell. Something that stinks is not edible in my opinion. Yes, people do eat very nasty stinky cheese, but that’s a different level. All I have to say is you guys need to give this pizza joint a try and I promise you you will be sold just like me. I will be visiting this pizza joint every time I’m in Jensen as long as I’m hungry. I promise you guys, I will not be ordering from any other pizza place in my area ever again. Thank you very much For the delicious pizza and...

We live right down the street from Ian & Kyes and every Sunday we were ordering a pizza or two from them. It's really good most the time but we find not completely consistent. We like it thin and crispy. We got it that way a few times but the other times it comes sort of soggy which is not as good. Love the Chicago cut though and when it is crispy it is good! Only other drawback is that the pizza sauce is sweet, that we do not like. Pizza sauce should not have sugar put in it. Once we were told their special beef sandwich was outstanding, we tried it and we were disappointed in it. I wish they had a local delivery of their own but they do not they use the of delivery services. Also, we tried somewhere else recently and we go a Buffalo Chicken pizza, very thin and crispy. It came with blue cheese or ranch dressing and nice chunks of white meat chicken & buffalo sauce! I wish they would put this on the menu! It was outstanding. All this said, it's a decent place to get pizza because it's...

Well, Worth the trip over from Tampa. We had heard about the place on Facebook and decided to drive over and spend a night close by. At 5:30 on a Sunday there were a few tables for 2 open. We started with fried zucchini with a side of ranch. We ordered a medium sausage pizza. OMG, that pie was so delicious. Cracker thin, not soggy crust. The pizza comes out on a tray raised so the air moves underneath so the crust doesn’t get soggy. Perfectly flavored sauce… thank goodness it wasn’t sweet, and the sausage…let me tell you, it’s the real deal they have it brought in from Chicago!!! We chatted to the waitress, Alex and told her we were from Tampa and originally Illinois. Next thing we know is Kye comes out of the kitchen and chatted with us. He was so excited and so were we that he came out. What a fun place. We had water and one iced tea, the zucchini and a medium pizza, and on the way out got a bag of Garrett’s popcorn. IYKYK! With tip we spent $50. They are closed on Mondays.

Delicious! Great tasting pizza, and garlic sticks. First time to Jensen Beach and we wanted something quick to eat. Found this place on Google and we thought of giving it a try. No regrets. We practically devoured a buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, garlic sticks, fries and a chicken parm sandwich. And the prices are pretty reasonable with a lot to select from. Very nice decor resembling Chicagos ambiance, with lots of seating inside and outside. You can find free parking in front or in the back. It’s pretty easy to find from the main road and it’s near a lot of other restaurants and shops.

Absolutely fantastic Pizza! They have specialty pies or you can design your own. And the crust... If you are a thin and crispy crust lover, this is your place! We did pineapple sausage and extra cheese upon the recommendation of another patron who was there and we were not disappointed. Not thrilled about the service at all. We were never asked if we wanted extra napkins or a refill of our sodas and there were no red pepper flakes on the table and we were never asked if we wanted any. That's just basic pizza restaurant etiquette. I know because I used to work in... But I'll go back for the pizza!
