IHOP — Restaurant in Florida

I normally DO NOT take the time out of my life to write a review but my experience yesterday was so repulsive I had to! I would first like to say that I've lived near this location for 10 years and have dined here numerous times and never have I been so appalled by the lack of courtesy and blatant disrespect. Upon entering the restaurant I was not greeted and the restaurants entire floor was covered in crumbs from previous tables. I shared a meal with my boyfriend and when my pancakes arrived they were cold. My server had not come back yet so I signaled another young man who when I informed him of this and requested that instead of the traditional buttermilk which I received be changed to the Birthday cake pancakes he stared at me blankly and gave no response except to walk away with the hotcakes. My waitress came back to the table to let me know that MY FRESH BIRTHDAY CAKE PANCAKES were being prepared and the COLD BUTTERMILK pancakes are no longer a concern of mine. A few minutes later she returned with my pancakes and upon a simple glance and flipping of my second pancake I could tell that these were the same pancakes just with whipped creme and sprinkles on top. Afterwards my server did not return to my table for a long while. I did not eat the pancakes and when she got to the table I asked if the pancakes were new ones and if she was aware that these were the same pancakes that had been heated up and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. She then proceeded to MOCK ME and say "Sorry I dont wear glasses so I cant see the sprinkles" and asked if I wanted new ones. I declined. She then went back to the front of the store and yelled loudly at the kitchen staff and insisted that the pancakes were fresh. Then one of the chefs approached the table in a vain attempt to convince me the pancakes were new and he can make me totally new ones if I allowed him to. I declined. I do not appreciate my intelligence being tested. I am not a child and I can tell when people are being devious. Its obvious that this IHOP is one that I WILL NEVER return to and its unfortunate that you hire...

Good night….. I am soooo disturb by the service I received at this ihop…. Let’s start with I got to the door and I was told I couldn’t come in with my cup of juice BEFORE I was greeted (noooo greeting at all was done) ok whatever we sat down and we started ordering EVERYTHING WAS AN UP CHARGE. For example we ordered an impossible breakfast meal and it was an up charge for cheese ok so we said ok go ahead and charge then she came back and said they can’t put the cheese because it’s a fixed menus 🤨so we said can we have cheese on the side she side yes…. We still haven’t received the cheese and THEY CHARGED US FOR IT. Number 3 we wanted a Philly cheese steak sandwich THEY DIDNT HAVE ANYMORE FOR THE NIGHT🤨… we asked for a medium rear steak it looked gross 🤮 and WHITE. Never 4 someone at my table food came and it was plate HORRIBLE the plate was soooo messy. Number 5 mushrooms from someone’s plate at the table was on top of the impossible veggie meal. Number 6 they added hash brown to the impossible veggie meal and it DOES NOT COMES WITH hashbrowns. Number 7 the protein pancakes was handed to someone else with their meal at the end of our table…LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE SERVER EMPTIED THE TRASH ANS CHANGE THE BAG AND DID NOTTTTTTTTTTT WAS SHE HANDS AND CONTINUED TO BRING A PLATE OF FOOD FOR MY TABLE AND SEVERED ANOTHER TABLE AND TOOK A CALL ON HER PHONE….. also after she kept going bk to the cook she said to him sorry for making u mad but it’s not my fault…. WHAT THE HECK…

This place is the worst place I have ever ate. This is just the first step of my complaint. We were there for over 20 minutes before anyone said anything to us. Took another ten minutes before we had our drink orders taken. They had to close the doors and lock them to catch up to their orders. We started to receive our food and the hash browns were not done come on their already done and just needs to be browned. That wasn't even done. I ordered steak tips when they came out half was raw the other half was well done which I asked for. When I called the manager over and showed her (Paula) she says ok. As I say it's not done she tells me this is how it comes and I should have told the waiteress that I wanted it well done (which i did.) The waitress tells me they do not automatically come medium. And that the manager was lying. (Paula) proceeds to be rude stating that their is nothing that can be done. To be honest the waitress was as sweet as they could be it was management that needs retrained. I asked for corporate number and she first refused to give it to me saying that their franchised and she would be the one calling me back after calling corporate anyways. And that the only one I could talk to was him. As I explained to her that I did not want to speak with him I wanted corporates number and her name which I did not receive either. I will never eat at any IHOP ever again no matter where it is because of this situation and will be going to the doctors as soon as I get home as my stomach does not feel right.
