Went there to order some food to go for me and my lady friend. Prices were insane, and me and my lady friend dont eat that much, so I asked the lady if the quesobirria was enough for two people. She said it wasn't and suggested I get something else on top of my original order. I ordered quesobirria and a torta de barbacoa with two drinks. When I got my drinks there was a hole in one of the cups so I went back inside. They gave me a cup and gave me a fix it kinda expression so I took it and left. Once in the car I tried the horchata and it was DUSGUSTING. It had a weird grainy and clumpy texture and tasted a bit off. I go back and request they remake the drink and begrudgingly do so. Once I get back and open the food... my original order would have definitely been enough for us and would've saved me $20. Plus there was more queso than meat.. AND the cilantro and onions were on the side with the TINIEST cup of dipping sauce you can possibly imagine. Didn't even bother opening the torta. Waste of...

Update: 08/08/25 First time back in a while and let me tell ya… the food was AWESOME, flavorful, and filling. So much so that I changed my overall to 5 ⭐️ Dare I say… BEST TAQUERIA IN KENDALL!

I’m a picky, California born, Mexican food lover, so I want this place to succeed. It’s hard to find a great Mexican restaurant in Kendall. I have eaten here twice already and I will say that the food shows promise. The biria tacos were very good, but the consume a bit too oily; the Al Pastor tacos were very good, especially the chile de aguacate. The red sauce has a great kick, but the green doesn’t; the burrito (Al Pastor) was ok (I prefer the “chorreado” style); I would rather see house made chips and not some from a bag. I will return for sure because I want to try the rest of the menu - I hope to give this place 5...

Ok, ok so a new Mexican restaurant opened up across from Miami dade College Kendall Campus and I wanted to finally try birria tacos! What a disappointment, so underwhelming. Don’t hate me but the meat in the taco tasted like nothing, super bland!! I thought birria tacos were supposed to have a “stewed meat” taste but they tasted like nothing…the consume also tasted bland. I also had an elote, my first time as well and it was so delicious!! Perfect appetizer/snack. I washed everything down with an Horchata, and they added too much cinnamon so if you order horchata say light cinnamon or no cinnamon. It was alright as well. I’m giving them 3 stars because the service was exceptional, they’re a new restaurant so there’s room for improvement. I’ll visit again and try other menu items. Oh and the prices are...

This is what you call a Mexican place. Authentic food, excellent prices, and wonderful service ! I had a chicken taco and an Al Pastor taco and I cannot recommend it more. The quesadillas were big but exquisite. If you don’t feel like downing 3 quesadillas in one go, do not fret as there are mini quesadillas available. They have the glass bottle Coca Cola and Jarritos as well as many Mexican sweets and popsicles. The Frida Kahlo and Chavo del Ocho murals are AMAZING! Loved the atmosphere. So colorful and unique! Definitely makes the place stand out (in a good way, of course). Food is freshly made and comes out fairly quickly. I’ve actually never had something more delicious and I WILL be taking my gals out here for the experience. Tooooo good! Check this place out, you won’t regret it. 😉

Hola Amiga/Amigo Come with me “South of the Border” to Jalapeños Miami Mexican Street Food for a fiesta with some authentic Mexican food. The lively mariachi music greeted us at the door. We were greeted warmly and seated within seconds. The diner style dinning came with five star service. The authentic off the grill corn tortilla tacos with a selection of meats from Asada to Barbacoa. There is nothing better than a birria taco with a side of elote corn and a fruit punch jarrito! We ended the meal with a frozen treat. There is something for everyone from burritos to quesadillas. Across the street from the local college, with prices even a student can afford. If you’re every in the Kendall, drop by you will be glad you did! Adios! I'll see you next time, when you come to visit.
