Sushi Sake
On 4/26/2020, I placed an order online for delivery for Sushi Sake. I had to do it Through Postmates apparently they are the ones who do deliver the Sushi Sake restaurant in my area. 10834 SW 104th St. Miami Fl.33176. When I received my order, 1 item out out of 3 that I ordered was correct and they added and extra item and charged me for it that I have not ordered. I called the store right away to make them aware of the mistake. Gus answered the phone and he acknowledged the mistake on the order saying that postmates website menu is different from the actual sushi sake's menu. Example when I see JB roll, under postmates menu means something else... I told him that I would like what I ordered . The food I was given was NOT what I have ordered and I stated that if sushi sake knows about issue with Postmates menus how come they have not done anything to solve it? Gus, very rudely said if I didn't like the meal(s) I received I can put it in the trash. Sushi Sake is not responsible for Postmates Menu and I should can take it up with them". I tried contacting Postmates customer Service #. They are not answering. They give you a website to place a complaint, which I couldn't find where to do it. It is so frustrating how something so simple can turn very frustrating. The order was originally less than $25.00 then they charge you delivery fee (completely understandable) then tax (of course) then (tip) then there is a service fee that they dont tell you about and the extra item that appeared in the order. So from $25 ended at $50.00 on top of everything you dont get the food that you want, but to put the cherry on top you get Gus "great customer service " (I'm very sarcastic) telling you if you dont like it throw food away... I will never order from this store again nor any member of my family. No so much for the $50.00 but for the horrible...
Read moreI'm really not sure about the poor reviews I've seen, but this is my experience: I stopped by to order for takeout. I ordered 2 vegetable rolls (special - NO asparagus and NO cucumber), 2 tuna rolls, and a California roll. When I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by a server to directed me to the hostess at the cash register. She took the order correctly the first time. After I placed the order and paid, she said that it would be about 15-20 minutes. I sat down and waited. I looked around at the diners and everyone seemed pleased with their food and were having a good time. The ONLY downside was that it was quite warm in the restaurant. Granted, there may have been an issue with the A/C and it was an extremely hot day. The food was ready for me to take away in about 17 minutes. When I got home, I unpacked the bag and opened the containers. Whoever made the rolls did a great job of rolling them. The vegetable rolls were generously filled with the carrot and avocado that I ordered as were the other rolls. There was just the right amount of pickled ginger, wasabi and shredded beets. I noticed a few reviews complained about the prices. I think that a lot depends on not only the location of a restaurant (rents) but also, all of the seafood at a sushi restaurant has to be sushi grade to make sure that it's not only fresh, but free of parasites. Since the pandemic, everything has skyrocketed in price and restaurants are no exception. We were pleased with our order. Read moreIf I could rate them lower, I would. I waited 2 hours for a delivery and the excuse I was given was tbey “didn’t have a driver”. They sent an employee from the restaurant who showed up 30 mins AFTER she told me she was 10 minutes away. As she was walking up my driveway she dropped the bag of food and still handed it to me. When I revised it, I told her the food was ALL over the bag and all she said was “would you like me to let them know?”... $60 later, I call the restaurant to speak to a manager and get hung up on twice. When I finally spoke to Victor, who claimed he was the manager, my disappointment with their service was handled anything but well. He did not apologize and “could not find the sale”. When he asked me for a receipt, I told him the only receipt that came on the bag was taken by their employee, Carley. When I asked for my money back, considering there was no food to be eaten, I was told he would get back to me. Horrible horrible horrible service.
