Bloomte — Restaurant in Kendall

This place is fine, but considering how many other similar ramen and asian snack places are near Kendall, this one is not my favorite.

The food is fine and the price is fine, but there really isn’t anything to write home about. I didn’t have a bad time with this place at all though! I finished the food and overall I was satisfied but I just feel kind of “eh” about it.

I came specifically for the Japanese Soufflé Pancake (because I hate going all the way to wynwood for it), and it was just like a regular thick pancake loaded with A LOT of sugar.

Pros: -Staff is very friendly! -A lot of good boba flavors with ability to adjust sweetness -Food overall not bad, just Ok

Cons: -The day I went it seemed like 1 lady was in charge of everything (front of house, cooking, bringing food to tables) so it was kind of chaotic Ordered Korean Chicken Nuggets and it seemed like a frozen chicken cutlet that was cut into slices and drizzled with sauce -Boba was inconsistent. Some were soft and chewy, some were hard in the middle. Mostly enjoyable though -Soufflé Pancake is still good, but to get the real stuff look elsewhere. It’s less soufflé more pancake

Overall take: Give it a try and see if you like it. I think there are definitely people who do like this place and are regulars here. For me, there are other places i’d rather go to for the same foods and options, and the one thing that sets them apart (the pancake soufflé) is not really worth the re-visit.

The night I came to Bloomte, I was actually heading to a place nearby and saw this Ramen place.... I had to try it. The pictures on the front glass looked good and lots of good reviews, so... I went in.

The restaurant looks clean and decor is okay but it was deserted. I was the only one there for most of my dinner. I ordered what the girl said it was their best ramen and big thumbs down 👎 on that. The noodles felt like they came out of a grocery store.... I mean not even maruchan level! No offense to Maruchan.

The broth itself was watery and lacking flavor. It was more like a chicken bouillon dissolved in hot water. The one good thing, in my opinion, was the Bobba teas. That was flavorful and kinda made up for the ramen. (No, not really)

Usually, I try a restaurant a couple of times when I don't like it, before I write a review, but I will pass on this one....

Really very bad experience we had today in this place. First I received a reel on Instagram saying that they had the promotion 2 bobba tea free 1, we had to call the owner and that she would gladly receive us to give us the offer, we called without being able to contact us, since my 5 children are lovers of bobba tea we decided go to your location. When we arrived we found a small but organized empty store, the staff does not greet or is friendly, and in its window there was a large notice of the 2x1 offer but when we asked the cashier she told us that there was NO offer that she did not know when it was available. current, that I couldn't call the owner, etc. That couldn't give us any option. Ultimately misleading...
