This place deserves 5 stars! Not 4.7 Some of the reviews seem unfair imo.
Update October 2024: 1 of my fiancĂš Conner & I regular go to spots. Waitress: Olivia and trainee Alex, also the owner def understands customer service to another level. I feel very welcomed here!
August 2024: OMG! Can you say AMAZINGGGGGGGG. This was my 1sr time, itâs in West Kendall. This is a hidden gem( not sure if itâs hidden lol), but it is a small restaurant, it was packed when we went for brunch.
Arrival: From my fiancĂ© & I approached the door, we were greeted by a host who seated us immediately. We were attended to immediately & we went for Saturday brunch 05.08.24 around 1:30pm. We did call before we went though to see if we would be seated or they could accommodate us as we didnât make reservations.
Menu: concise, easy We started off with the: Corn Ribs, recommended by our server- THAT WAS SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS- he recommend we eat it like ribs haha he was right. Great flavor & not too spicy Cz I told him I do not like peppery. I can still remember the delicious taste of the 2. Bruch & Still Hung over pancake - Iâve never had anything like it before- DELICIOUS & not too too sweet which I assumed all pancakes would be. The bitterness of the coffee broke it. Serving size is perfect for me.
My fiancĂ© had the 3.SPECIAL OF THE MONTH- shrimp with grits , but the grits were cooked into the pancake- LISTEN TO ME- TRY THIS. I do NOT like GRITS, Iâve had them at Suffolk Punch in Charlotte, North Carolina in the south and I did NOT like it. But my fiancĂ© convinced me to try the grits & i boy was I wrong. Heâs from the south. Never had that type of cuisine for grits before. Every1 cooks grits differently, this is the 1 Iâll eat lol.
We also had the Sweet Potato Cappucino which I LOVED the Espresso + Custard YUM.
Customer service: The customer service was top notch. My fiancé & I travel and try new restaurants & this is in the top experiences for customer service!.
Waiter: SEBASTIAN. Shout out to SEBASTIAN. He was FABULOUS. A charm to have & I always have 1000 questions when I try somewhere for the 1st time. Sebastian was knowledge about the menu, what to expect in each meal for the flavor and the palette, how to taste/drink the espresso+custard. itâs those little simple additions that take a restaurant to the next level. He was pleasant, checked in on us not too much, but also not just for the sake of âchecking inâ, he actually had valuable input to ask or suggest. Any1 can read off the menu & deliver your food, but to know what to recommend to suit ur customers likes/dislikes- thatâs where the 5/5 comes. I am a particular person when it comes to food.
We will be returning for the Lobster Roll( we returned for this & it was amazing also)
Price: Prices are reasonable, nothing wild.
Owner: The owner, chef, came over & greeted us, introduced himself, asked us how our meal was and struck up a conversation. I love that- it makes me feel valued as a customer taking that extra step and knowing the owner is there overseeing.
Miami: Miami is competitive for restaurant business. A lot of really nice spots have a 2 hour seating time maximum.
Recommendation: My fiancĂ© has decided this will be a regular spot for us based on that singular experience of going there! CHECK IT OUT! You wonât be disappointed.
Dress code: Donât have to dress up to go there. I am used to dressing up dining out in Miami; but this was a mix of casual dress & more dressed up.
Parking: Free parking in a parking lot.
Language: English or Bilingual speaking staff. That was a big for me, because Iâm used to living in Miami & employees having limited English proficiency or none at all. There was no communication barrier here and I think that REALLY HELPED.
Overall: 10/10, 5/5 , It was a busy day for the restaurant & we were still not ignored. Menu was concise. Apparently they have a special every month.
TLDR: received EXCELLENT SERVICE WITH EXCELLENT FOOD & DRINKS with Reasonable prices. Every single dish we had there was 10/10....

If youâre looking for a restaurant that delivers top-notch service, incredible food, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than The Jealous Fork. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. The energy, the teamwork among the staff, and the passion behind the food were all evident. This was hands down one of the best dining experiences weâve ever had.
Food That Exceeds Expectations
The menu at The Jealous Fork is unique and creative, offering dishes you wonât find just anywhere. I started with a cheeseburger and a bacon spindle, both of which were absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the bacon spindle was crispy and packed with rich, smoky goodness. But the true highlight of my meal was the Oreo pancakesâand Iâm not exaggerating when I say these were the best pancakes Iâve ever had.
The texture was light and fluffy, the flavors blended perfectly, and the presentation was just as amazing as the taste. They were sweet but not overpowering, with the perfect balance of Oreo goodness in every bite. If you visit The Jealous Fork, these pancakes are a must-tryâtrust me, you wonât regret it! My wife ordered the strawberry pancakes, which she also loved. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and bursting with flavor.
Outstanding Service and Hospitality
One of the things that truly stood out was the impeccable service. From start to finish, we felt like valued guests. The owners were actively engaged, moving from table to table, ensuring everyone was happy. Itâs rare to see restaurant owners so involved in the dining experience, and it made such a difference.
Not only did they take time to personally greet guests, but the owner even invited me into the kitchen! It was amazing to see the passion behind the food firsthand. Watching him and his team work together seamlessly was inspiring. The entire staff was incredibly attentiveâalmost every server checked on our table at least once, making sure we were taken care of. It was clear they all worked together as a team, creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest.
The Atmosphere
We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day, and it was the perfect setting for our meal. The outdoor seating area was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Whether you sit inside or outside, youâll feel the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes this restaurant so special.
Final Thoughts â A Five-Star Experience
The Jealous Fork is more than just a restaurantâitâs an experience. From the delicious, well-crafted menu to the exceptional customer service and welcoming atmosphere, this place truly has it all. The level of dedication from the owners and staff is something you donât see every day, and it makes a huge difference in the overall experience.
If youâre in the area, this is a must-visit spot. Whether youâre in the mood for a hearty burger, crispy bacon, or out-of-this-world pancakes, The Jealous Fork delivers on every level. We will absolutely be coming back, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal.
â Five stars from Tarah...
Read moreService & Atmosphere: Holy flipping pancakes. Iâve seen this place here by where we live and never have gone before because weâve always seen people waitingâŠ.Let me tell you I can now understand why. Today was a rainy day and we decided to go check it out since no one really like to go out in the rain and there was a wait for the tables still believe it or not. They did offer us to sit at the bar as the bar has no wait. We sat at the very end of the bar closest to the kitchen and let me tell you the staff is just phenomenal that we bought a round for the kitchen. If you talk to the dishwashers who wear the grey shirts they could tell you all about the kitchen and the food they are very passionate about the place. The food equipment makes the restaurant look like itâs brand new and itâs all the amount of care and love thatâs poured into the kitchen by the staff. One thing I loved about sitting at the bar is that EVERYONE talks to you they al check in on you and give you recommendations and suggestions.
Drinks: Sweet Potato Cappuccino It doesnât sound like it should be a coffee but sure is a delicious coffee
Salted Caramel Affogato It is 2 shots of espresso with caramel and ice cream. The way it was made it wasnât hot not too cold and the floating scoop of ice cream was amazing at the end and all the perfect balance
Food: Let me tell you when I first looked at the menu towards the bottom half where it said pancakes I had to ask if those were pancakes, and the answer to that is YES! Holy **. My pancake was the special of the month (June 2024) and it had grits, mushrooms, shrimp, corn and savory taste. It may not sound appealing to some and more leave you wondering how can you do that to a pancake but let me tell you it was amazing. I was very skeptical and was going to go with a more traditional pancake and Iâm super glad I did not. We did take it home and our serve suggested for reheating as we did not get to finish our food to put it in the air fryer which we did and it was amazing.
Chocolate Oreo Chip pancake. Another employee there that we were conversing with suggested that we put it in the fridge to let the juices settle and then freeze it and itâs a mouth gasam.
The Burrata It sits in the marinade in the savory flavors and itâs just amazing and I am not a burrata person and it was good
Pork Belly Bites We love eating pork belly and weâve never even thought of eating it with citrus mojo and it was divine and they make their own mojo mixture
IMPORTANT UPDATE BURGER TIME â€ïžâ€ïž
Overall overall this place is worth every penny and the crew is phenomenal the dishwashers you even see them pitching in to help the kitchen and not just to wash dishes where you are left thinking how can a place find in this day and age with people that actually want to work to the point where theyâre all talking to you and happy...
