Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Florida

Have been here two times. The first time it was wonderful! Everything was great. Went in today after school with my children because they both received a couple for “one free small item on the menu no purchase Necessary” Wait in line, wait for the cashier to come back. He takes our order I say hey we also have these two free item coupons. He says oh but you have to pay for toppings. I said no it says the small item is free. Then I say you know what I’ll be back. As I’m walking out I say nope let me talk to manager. Manager comes, I tell her what happened. She tells me that the toppings aren’t included. Even though it does NOT say that on the coupon. She then goes well we can do it this time but next time nope. I’m like but it doesn’t say that on the coupons. All in all. We ended up leaving. I was right and I feel like they were trying to pull one passed me. If toppings are extra with the “free item” coupon then y’all need to put that on there. Won’t be going back to...

I'm glad Lakewood Ranch has another dessert shop - it needed it. Product is good, despite being a little on the pricey side. The lack of stars is mostly due to the disappointing service... and I've given this place many trips to see if anything was just an anomaly - it is not. The way the orders are taken and the product is served is very inefficient, and does not scale to meet customer demand. Expect to wait 10-15 minutes in line (not including time waiting for product after you have ordered) no matter what time of day you go. An easy improvement would be to have dedicated order-takers, and dedicated product makers. For a company so good at their graphics and marketing, I am flabbergasted that they can't develop good processes and procedures for what is essentially a glorified ice...

Hallmarks of a good luxury dessert place - you are permitted to sample anything you want, there is always a line, and you feel like you get your money's worth. Look at my picture of the Grasshopper (medium size cup) and it'll speak for itself. It was filled way high over the brim with their signature minty Italian ice, soft serve ice cream, layered with lots of Oreo crumbles. Eating this made me feel extra motivated to burn off all the calories on the exercise bike the next morning. Next time I'll need to bike before indulging so I don't feel so guilty. Do not plan to eat this in the car until you've cleared the top rim of the cup, or your car is definitely going to have a mess on the seats. Stay a while and enjoy at their indoor or...
