Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

ZERO STARS!..... It's too bad the system requires me to give them at least one star to give a review. Last year I placed an order online for a company lunch. The order was placed online. Payment was completed and a confirmation email was received. My office is located less than a mile away from Jets. My scheduled delivery time was for 12:30pm. The pizza never arrived. When I called to see the status of the delivery, the person on the phone told me that the order was never proceed and not even received. I advised the associate that the order was placed online, at the Fruitfville store and that I had a confirmation email. The associate said that they would have to remake the order. At that point, I had my team waiting for me for a lunch meeting and we just ended up grabbing subs from publix instead. No apology was received. Fast forward a year later, I think to myself, lets give jets another shot, the pizza is pretty good compared to some of the other spots. On 3/1/2019 I placed an order online for a single Large Pepperoni. Once again for a lunch meeting, and a 12:00pm delivery. The order was placed about 1 hour before they opened, so I figured, I've got to me one of the first few if not the first to place my order. I also included the tip at the time of order; because, what are the chances of them screwing it up again right? Wrong! It was like a bad dream. First, I never received an email confirmation of my order. 12 o'clock comes around and I look at the status of my order online, it has not even been cooked yet. I figure, they must have a delay on the system. I'll wait till 12:15pm. Note that I once again have a team of counting on me for lunch. 12:15 comes around and I get on the phone to call jets. After being on-hold for about 5 minutes (Understandable, its rush hour). The jets associate answers the phone in the most obnoxious and rude way. I ask him when my pizza will arrive. He says it's getting finished up now. I told the associate that I placed the order online and well before they even opened the store. It was supposed to be delivered by 12pm. He says to me "So did the rest of Sarasota". I really had to restrain myself and hold a professional tone. He then said it's getting boxed and going out the door. I finally got my pizza 30 minutes late. I will never order from this place again. Do not order from this Jets unless you want delayed delivery, lost orders, rude service and being left with...

I am a bit appalled at the service i received today. I ordered my pizza online at 11:40am. The online order said it would be ready by 12:50... (okay...so an hour for pizza....) Well come 12:55 i called and was told by Bob that the Pizza was "15 minutes away". Okay so i will wait 15 minutes... Come 1:30 i had called again, talked to the "Manager" Nate and was told that the Pizza is 10 minutes away. okay... now, come 1:56 I called again and i was told the Pizza was supposed to be there momentarily... Well at over 2 hours later, the pizza shows up...Luke warm... not "hot and fresh" like i was told. I was continued to be told "Sorry we are understaffed and very busy". I hope to God this is not the answer they are telling others that had been waiting over 2 hours for pizza. Once i called Nate again he said he would fix the issue and asked me to accept the food once it arrived.... I am sure the food would have been better if it was Hot. I really hate to write a negative review, but i am just shocked at the amount of time waited and i could not imagine what amount of time that others were waiting. Other than that Bob and Nate were very friendly over the phone. I was asked to try them again, but I really cannot wait another 2...

The pizza is very good. I have only had it delivered, so can't comment on the in store service. Delivery can be hit and miss. I always order online, and the delivery time is always listed as 60 minutes. Never deviates from that. Sometimes I get it in less then a half hour and sometimes it takes well over an hour. The drivers are always friendly, and apologize if it's late. Since the pizza is good, and everyone is friendly, I put up with it. But I would prefer to be given a realistic delivery time when I order. Many other Pizza chains...
