First of all we went in here to get a quick lunch. Expecting to sit down. There's maybe three four chairs and when you walk in there's no one at the cash register. They're all back behind the wall and there's the automatic check-in so we did our automatic check. While we were doing our automatic check-in, apparently a lady had brought back the food that was bad and she was arguing with the person behind the counter and she was irate and the customer said you know she was rude to me and why is that guy back around the corner talking to the manager and about me. The employee came back out and started saying I'm just telling my manager what happened so that we can give you your money back. He started to get pretty angry and was shouting at the customer and then finally told the customer you need to get out of my store. Leave my store which wasn't very professional. Then the lady cashier behind the counter was like was that rude? She was saying, "Was I rude?" That's just not professional. Everybody looked like, we're not answering that. Are you kidding? So when this was all done we walked over to the counter to check out and there was nobody there. She finally came back around and I said to her with my order that I just submitted. I wanted to have a soda water instead of the stary mist. She then said what's a soda water? What is that? I don't know. We don't have soda water. I was like really. I've got that before at a KFC. I'm thinking to myself. They probably just didn't set it up that way. I'm an architect and have designed franchises before, so I know that they can order those things when they set the store up. Apparently they didn't have it or maybe she thinks they didn't have it. Either, case she was also rude to us and then when she came back to deliver the food she's like. I'm sorry about the fact we don't have that. I'm like seriously. These two people behind the counter do not belong in customer service in my opinion And the lady that came in about the food, was right. The middle of the chicken was white instead of golden so it was slightly undercooked on the outside. The inside was okay. I've cooked KFC before, a long time ago so it just didn't taste as good. To be honest when all the shouting was going on. I nearly walked out, especially considering the fact that I had to do self-checkout like the cashier wasn't even paying attention to us standing there, too busy arguing with the lady. I'm sure you guys have heard that before the way your employees are was in there today on September 24th 2024 at about 12:30p.m. and nobody came to the drive-thru so and didn't see a place to order so I pulled forward and sat there for a couple minutes before the lady came to the window and hastily said I can't help you. While I was there I asked a quick question and the lady refused to answer it saying I already told you I can't help you. So I went inside to order and while I was there another customer who was eating came up and asked for some salt and she just ignored him. After that I just walked out without ordering I was this upset from the incident and went to Popeye's instead.She had a bad attitude, gave dirty looks and was in a bad mood or something along those lines because she was very unpleasant to deal with and bad enough that it brought me to take the time out of my day to leave this review. I love the colonel. Big fan of KFC just don't know if I'll be going back to this one ever. I hope this message finds the manager of the new Merritt Island KFC, which I had such high hopes for, and whatever female employees were working at that time on this day were reprimanded and spoken to about this incident. No big deal, Iâll give them a call and let them know they messed up my order; however when I did so, the lady who picked up the phone just answered âHello?â That was unprofessional, so I asked to speak to a manager. She responded that she was a manager, so I began to explain the reason I was calling, to which she interrupted me to ask what was wrong. I told this lady I was in the middle of letting her know what was wrong, and I was immediately hung up on. What a joke. I called the place back multiple times just for them to let the phone ring endlessly. All that was wrong was an incorrect side, and this geriatric woman decided to hang up on me and then never answer the phone again. The food was very mediocre and not worth 20 bucks for 2 sandwiches with sides. If youâre here, I recommend taking your money to the Publix behind you or Chick Fil A down the street.
