Five (5) stars are inadequate for this establishment, it deserves at least ten (10), imho.
We attempted to dine at this Brazilian Style Steakhouse yesterday, but upon arriving found out they were undergoing a bit of an upgrade and wouldn't be open until today, 04 June, 2021. So we returned this evening and I am so grateful that we did. This was my first dining experience at a "Brazilian Style" steakhouse and 'Brasas Grill Brazilian Style Steakhouse' was well beyond any expectations that I had. The owner & Chef should be proudly displaying national level awards (stars) for this cuisine. I could've easily dined just on what was offered on the soup/salad/veggie bar, it was amazing by itself. However when you flip your table card from red to green indicating that you are ready for the staff to bring various freshly cooked meats to your table, it elevates your dining experience exponentially! This evening there were no less than seven (7) meats being offered for customers to sample. They were all worth trying, and yes I tried them all (LOL), but the Parmesan Crusted Pork, Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Flank Steak, & Sirloin Steak were all contenders for a "Best Dish" award. I know what you're thinking ... Flank Steak? Trust me though and try it because this Chef definitely knows what he's doing, it was so tender & juicy that I honestly believe my 81 yoa Mother could've eaten it without her dentures.
Then there are awesome deserts to choose from if you have any room left. We went with the Cheesecake w/Caramel topping & Grilled Pineapple w/Ice Cream. Both are recommended.
This review would be incomplete without at least mentioning the staff. We had an excellent Server who took care of everything from keeping our beverages filled to bringing us freshly baked 3 Cheese Bread (and it was delicious). But additionally there were the gentlemen that regularly stopped by the table with skewers of the various proteins for you to choose from, and they were hustling tonight, as well as the Chef himself who was on the floor greeting diners and even asking if there was something additional that he could bring us. That is almost unheard of, but just another example of why you need to give this restaurant a try ... period!
'Brasas Grill Brazilian Style Steakhouse' has taken the title of "Absolutely Must Dine Here" if you find yourself within the central Florida area and looking for a Top Tier dining experience. My only regret is not finding out about it sooner! I WILL...
Read moreMy wife and I went to Brasas Grill for the first time today for lunch. After paying the check we walked outside and looked at each other and at the same time said, “Wow”. Everything was perfect….and I mean EVERYTHING. The salad bar had an amazing amount of detail put in to every dish. Food like this is only possible if the person presenting it loves what they do. So much variety, so fresh, so creative, the fresh smell hits you when you first walk in. The service was second to none. Both the owner and the staff treated us like family. Even the dishes and silverware both on the table and at the salad bar were so clean and looked hand polished…not a water spot in sight. The atmosphere was very comfortable, great music at a volume that made it very easy to talk. The restrooms were spotless…most days I can find something to say negative about just about anything… not today. I’m a cook so I’m pretty critical whenever we go out to eat and I have nothing but praise for this wonderful establishment. Eddie is the captain of the ship and let me tell you he runs a tight ship with high standards and as much as I would like to say he takes pride in his establishment…I really think it would be better to say he puts a lot of love in to what he does. It’s obvious he loves what he does and he genuinely appreciates his customers business. We’ve been to just about every restaurant in Brevard and I can safely say it’s nothing but Brasas Grill from now on…I’d also like to comment on the young lady that took care of our table. She really did a good job helping us order and looking after things…best service we’ve ever had. And as far as value goes…I don’t care where you go you will not get such high quality food and service for such a low price. I’m really looking forward to seeing this place get voted best in Brevard because it’s only a matter of time. Thanks...
Read moreWhen we were looking for a place to eat dinner, I only looked at pictures and saw glowing reviews for this restaurant. I assumed incorrectly that I would be able to get something small to eat, and my husband would have plenty of options for a big meal. We were seated and ordered drinks before we discovered that it was one price for meats & soup/salad bar. Unfortunately, I had stomach pains and was overtired. My husband had a good appetite and was intrigued by the one price menu that allowed him to sample to his heart's desire all of the meats and items in the salad bar. For me, he was willing to go someplace else, offering to pay our waitress for the drinks in to go cups To entice us to stay, the owner (manager?) offered me a lunch menu price for the salad bar. So we stayed. But If you have a hearty appetite & adventurous spirit, this IS your place for dinner.
I had spinach leaves & a couple of tomatoes from the expansive, extensive soup & salad bar. Husband only had whipped potatoes from the salad bar. He wanted to have room in his belly for the main meat course. And he did! He tried all of the meats, with a second helping of the sausage, which was his favorite. He thought the flank steak was a little dry, but still tasty. He truly enjoyed his meal. Almost too much!
My small meal was less than $12, and his was about $33. We remembered to tip our wait staff 20%. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We would love to return when we are both healthy and hungry. It's a hidden gem in this area, so if you live nearby or are visiting, try it....
