Beware of this establishment. We had a situation last night that was handled very poorly by the management. Having just moved to the Wellington area we were trying out new restaurants. Unfortunately we decided that would be our new hang out. After about a 35-40 minute wait we were seated in the table you're the bathrooms all the way in the back. The one employee recognized me because normally I have to use walking equipment to get around. Since the restaurant was so packed we decided to just get me seated and then I can wait. Once we were put at our table they offered to bring us a water and something to drink. After getting but one cocktail for my friends I accidentally knocked a small glass of water over on the table. I do not have very good muscle control and require adaptive equipment. Shall we attempt to place an additional order and having the miscellaneous people that are all jammed into spaces come and sit at the three empty stools around our table. As I said I am handicapped and I did not give up my seat. When we finally get our turn almost an hour and a half later to order beverages we are met by an angry manager screaming that we've had enough to drink and we need to get out of his establishment. I find this rather odd since I did not have a drink yet all night. Needless to say as I try and struggle to get up off the chair to leave the manager has to stand behind me and say you need to get to the door you're drunk you need to get to the door you're a drunk. It wouldn't be the fact that I have 7 broken disc in my back and have difficulty walking especially without a walker which would take up more room in their bar. The whole thing just made me realize all the money that I have been spending eating out at this restaurant is something that is not appreciated by its owners. They're lucky that they're not teetering on an American with Disabilities Act lawsuit. I have never been treated with such disrespect nor have I ever been so embarrassed by a restaurant manager. My recommendations if you want to go out is to go someplace high class like Sonic. The management and owners have proven their true colors at this bar. Not only do they get bad feedback they end up losing customers for the next 25 years. As we were exiting the building the wee man insisted that we could not leave out of the front door and that we would have to go out the back and walk around to our automobile. The whole time as he's trying to put his hands on us and pushes to the doorway. I almost fell due to my Mobility problems and all he could do is push faster and harder. There are a enormous amount of places you could go to that are far...
Read moreWe have brought our 13 week old puppy around back to the patio twice, spending at least 6 hours and $750 buying drinks and food. Before meeting my family on the patio I used the restroom and when I went to meet them at the table on the patio, the little, Italian general manager told my mom the dog had to be on the ground instead of the carrier that it was leashed in being extremely rude, the carrier was the same carrier he was in for 3.5 hours 2 days prior. I asked the little, Italian general manager why we all of a sudden were being denied service even though we have been here multiple times with Toby and he said, âBecause I said so.â After reconnecting with my family in the parking lot, I found out he was extremely rude and said âYour dog has to be on the groundâ and 5 minutes later came back trying to be nice calling him a âfurbabyâ because he realized he was extremely rude. Needless to say, we wonât be coming back to this place ever again and they just missed out on a $250+ bill because we were looking forward to having some drinks while spending time together, eating and drinking. We asked the server if the little, Italian man was the owner and our server sighed, saying, âNo thatâs the general manager.â as she realized she was about to lose a 5 top table that wouldâve treated her well. Hopefully the owner realizes the management theyâve chosen is not a person who is a people person and is making them lose money.
The photo is of Toby in his carrier, sleeping on the patio of World of Beer because they let him stay in his carrier, sleeping and they...
Read moreCame in last night because I heard great things after the new management and wanted to give it a chance. The place looked busy and the wife and I were quickly seated on a table outside. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The drinks came in a smaller than normal glass. Wife ordered the fry pickles for appetizer and I ordered the clams after the waitress assured me that they were âa good sizeâ. Clams came and were very small. The pickles never came as the waitress âforgot to put in the orderâ I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon bowl and my wife the pistachio crusted chicken entree. Before dinner came out the waitress advised that they were out of mash potatoes and offered a rice and bean substitute. Entree arrived and wife and I both got salmon. and instead of rice and bean I got green beans only. Brought it to waitress attention and she was very apologetic and offered to take wife salmon back to exchange for the chicken she ordered, we declined, she apologized that I didnât get rice and bean and claimed they only had green beans. Waitress very polite and apologetic and comped us a key lime pie. The food that we were served was very good and cooked well. We will return cause we like to give everyone a second change and understand that they could just be having an off night but I would like to get served what we order. I will update this review after my second visit hopefully for the better. Today 11/13/22 I returned and I have to increase my review to 4 stars. Great service, food and friendly atmosphere. Food came...
