For the past year, I have visited Starbucks daily, and it has been an incredibly satisfying experience. My commitment to trying every item on the menu has been a delightful journey, but my absolute favorite remains the Flat White with hazelnut syrup. The consistency, quality, and welcoming atmosphere at Starbucks have made it my go-to place for coffee and more.

Each visit to Starbucks begins with the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the friendly greeting from the baristas. The ambiance of the café is always warm and welcoming, providing a perfect setting for both relaxing and working. The seating is comfortable, and the overall environment is conducive to both socializing and focusing on personal tasks.

This morning I came in to order a pup cup for my Frenchie who was about to be put down. As I said “pup cup” my eyes got teary and immediately Sheri( I think her name tag said, my eyes were full of tears) says “oh, no…is it….the last one…” I started crying and she ran around to hug me and Bella my frenchie that I was holding it was so sincere and completely needed at that moment. Asked if anything else was needed I asked for an espresso, and an extra pup cup but with chocolate. The manager on duty realized what was going on and immediately came over and said my order was on him and gave me words of encouragement. As I was waiting for the pup cups and espresso my new Starbucks friend came over with the drinks and said she was taking a break and would love to join me if I didn’t mind I told her I would love it and needed to get more goodies out of my car for Bella . Bella ate her McDonald’s and 2 chocolate pup cups while my Starbucks friend gave me words of encouragement and stories of her own fur babies. To bring someone’s drinks out is an easy task, to take a break is another easy task but to mix the 2 and bring a sincere conversation and a sense of warmth and love in a difficult moment meant the world to me. As someone who works in hospitality and has for many years this level customer service was top notch and completely unexpected, and everything I needed . I typically go to the Starbucks on stribbing bc it’s closer to me, today I went to the this one forest hill bc it’s closer to the vet. On December 28, 2024, at approximately 5:32 PM, my partner and I stopped by one of our favorite Starbucks locations—a place we’ve frequented for years. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment. Not only were both of our orders completely wrong, but the beverages were also so unbearable that we had no choice but to throw them away in the dumpster near the gym.

We tried to make the best of the situation, but there’s no excuse for such poor quality and attention to detail from a location that used to deliver excellent service. It’s hard not to feel like our drinks were deliberately mishandled, especially since the cashier asked us to tip. When my partner declined, it seemed to set the tone for the level of care (or lack thereof) given to our order.

We chose not to confront the staff at the time because we avoid unnecessary conflict, but this experience warrants feedback. This location needs to reassess its standards and ensure that customers receive the service and quality they expect, regardless of whether or not they choose to leave a tip.
