Loly’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

Went there this morning and had a bad experience with the customer service. Everything was going good, their Cafe con Leche is a must try, but when the bill come they charge a bunch of things extra without letting you know. I ate with my partner and between the two of us it was over $40. When they gave us the bill and I added everything, it did not equal the total they were charging me. I spent around $30 including their sneaky charges and they said the total was $36. Towards the end of the process, they basically don’t even give a tip choice. They said do you want to leave 15% or 20% and they charged you regardless of your answer. The funny part is the copy of the receipt doesn’t specify what you spent your money on. Like many places in Homestead this is a quaint little diner with seating at the counter, a couple booths and a few tables. This is the kind of place you order from the specials board and everyone knows your name. Always good grub at lolys. However the spinach I ordered had a lot to be desired. It was hard from being over microwaved, but honestly,I've never had an issue before. The waitresses are very friendly and I love that down home, family ran feel. My kids love it here and the cafe con leche is the best in town, its literally the size of my face. Yum!
