Winn-Dixie — Local services in Homestead

They don't care much for the appearance of the store (the floors are trashed, dirty, and smudges, tampered food laid around the store, etc.). What it seems as if only the look of the store is more important (painting, color, design, ect.). The computer registers are most often giving problems (malfunctioning). Shelves are over filled with too many of the same items that cause some items to be in the wrong home over the wrong price or not enough room on the shelf for what the planogram shows. The cashier can take the time to conversate while one cashier is overwhelmed with customers. Most managers/supervisors does not want to be bothered with situations of customers and the assistance of helping the cashiers. Most managers/supervisors are cashier friends which allows them to do as they please. Cashier also needs to dress appropriately/professionally (shirts look tacky, pants sagging, leggings, transparent pants, etc.)Winn Dixie stores need much improvements; take leadership...

This review is to publicaly thank a associate that works at this location. After years of not shopping at Winndixie I decided to give it a shot. The rewards system had since changed and I encountered a system glitch because of the change. After calling the customer service number and recieving the run around, I decided to drive to the store. That's where Summer Smith comes in. After explaining the situation she offered to help without hesitation. Unfourtanetly in most places customer service is a thing of the past. The majority of people get bothered , brush you off or give you the run arround. At first I was surprised but in the end I am grateful and full of admiration because of her service tactics. I woke up this morning feeling bad I mean I didn’t have enough money to do food shopping for this whole week not until Friday but God does mysteries things I had a friend I just send me money out of nowhere on my way to the supermarket of all the stress I totally forgot some things on the shopping cart.
