Lucky Palace Chinese — Restaurant in Parkland

Placed a large order for pick up, came home one of the dishes that was supposed have been Mongolian Beef was instead Beef with Green Peppers (hate peppers) and onions. Called the place to let them know of the mistake, called 4 times and 4 times they hung up a phone on me, really!!! We once in a while order from Lucky Palace and the food was always good, this time, it's like everything went wrong, the Orange Beef was disgusting, saggy and the sauce that left a bad taste in your mouth. The Lomein that we would order by the bucket was really, really bad. Their Beef Sticks were always very good, so I ordered 2 orders, after trying them everyone put them back, yes that bad. I don't know if they changed ownership or chefs, but we are not coming back. It looks like their reviews have also wend down. It's a real shame as Lucky Palace was among very few our the area where you could get decent Chinese Food, but NO MORE. Shame, Shame, Shame. Hope they read these reviews and will do something about their service...

Wife and I used to go there at least once a month, then it changed hands a few years ago and the entrees were obviously be altered to save costs in the ingredients. we decided to try it out again, last evening. It was even worse. The staff seemed very uncoordinated. The egg rolls were terribly over cooked and difficult to cut, let alone chew. The entrees received were lukewarm and had obviously been setting for quite a while, waiting on being delivered to the table. I ordered Hunan BEEF and received CHICKEN. I ate the chicken since no one bothered to come back and check if the meal was satisfactory, or not. Needless to say, our pot of tea was never refilled - that we had emptied, since the service was so slow. I usually leave a 20% tip in restaurants. This time, I left a single dollar, figuring that they MIGHT get the message about service and quality.

Last night I watched the football games with my father and we called to order food at about 445. They told us that it would be an hour and 15 minutes it arrives at about 645. So we took the food in and we ordered three things. They were very unaccommodating. Very short, Curt and rude. We asked for some pineapples on the side for a duck dish that we ordered which was nothing that we expected. They sent a piece of plain dock with nothing on it whatsoever and we wanted sweet-and-sour sauce and pineapple. They said they couldn’t do it I offered to pay for each.
