Marita's Latin Food — Restaurant in Florida

I went here because I called earlier on the phone asking if they are still selling Cuban sandwiches to which they replied yes.

I ordered at the restaurant with my Girlfriend asking for a Cuban sandwich with ONLY EGG, HAM, CHEESE, AND MAYO. Obviously a breakfast sandwich. To which the two men at the cash register nodded their head in agreenment. My girl even repeated the order of ONLY EGG, CHEESE, HAM, AND MAYO on the sandwich to which they nodded their heads again indicating to us they understood the assignment.

Order comes out a little more expensive then we're usually used to but whatever. Come all the way home to find out they made a traditional Cuban sandwich with no eggs in sight anywhere on the sandwich. We call the restaurant to be told they don't have eggs in the restaurant...... Like whut..... 🤦🤦

My girl speaks Spanish so she speaks Spanish to the employee for them to say to her "why didn't you just order in Spanish?"

Bruhh, not everyone gonna speak Spanish when ordering food from your establishment. Get the order correct. If you need clarification, ask for clarification or for customer to repeat order. Don't just nod your head like you understand what we're ordering. We asked for eggs on the sandwich TWICE which the employees acknowledged and then in the end they don't even have eggs to sell in the restaurant???? Come on...

Mouth watering party for the mouth! Your eyes will delight in the beautifully displayed rainbow of colors as the food is artistically displayed to draw you in and you delight as your olfactory senses and palate agree it was a great choice to pick the Grilled Salmon Bowl and a crab empanada with REAL Crab seafood, not imitation just the true deal. Marita does a great job, super prices, great value, nice service and I couldn't decide between the Strawberry Kiwi slushy and the margarita, Marita said try them both and I did. I asked if I could do half and half and YUM! GLAD I asked, and she said yes. The Strawberry Kiwi slushy is very thirst quenching. The margaritas are a bit strong so when you blend them....you'll have to try it yourself and decide.I will be back and I wish they had a branch in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach because as you are aware, I'm the new self appointed top fan. Decided to get a quick bite at Maritas during a business Visit in the Area. I had the shrimp flour and Chix Flour tacos. Really good taste and well spiced. However I have to say that there was a young Slim Dark hair Attendant that I Asked her please make sure that there was hot sauce in my food order I did this in Spanish and she looked at me weird so I Repeated myself, then she very rudely asked me if I spoke any English. Very Rude uncomfortable and awkward moment being that I speak perfect English ,Spanish and French and this young lady immediately assume that I did not speak English since she Obviously did not speak Spanish and is a Food attendant at a Spanish restaurant. later on another attendant explained to me that this was the owners daughter and apologize on behalf of the owner. To the Owner, Your Food was really good but your daughters Comments left a Sour Taste to the whole Experience. She could’ve handled the situation a bit better and more professional.
