Read moreThis used to be the best buffalo wings restaurant in town. MFC chicken was almost folklore, legendary in taste and highly secretive as to how they make their buffalo sauce. I used to try to emulate it when cooking but always found much difficulty replicating their signature sauce. A decade ago, Maryland Fried Chicken was THE chicken wings spot. Sadly, it’s deteriorated significantly in recent years. The wings now lack flavor and their once-signature sauce is merely average now. Their fried chicken is an awful, flavorless, soft mess. Prices have also increased and you get less bang for your buck. My wife has never tried Maryland’s before and I was excited to introduce her to the best wings in town, but she and I were let down, and probably for the last time.
If the owner is reading this, I beg of you, bring back the glory of the 2000s. Make the wings delicious again. Make the fried chicken crispy again. Add a bread roll, drink, and sides in the buffalo wings combo. Do away with the bland macaroni and potato salads, or improve them to edibility. Other then Pg's (much better place just so you know) this has been our 2nd favorite place to go. We never requested a refund the first 2 times our food was bad, because we know the workers are really quite kind and usually provide us the best service they can, but after the 3rd and 4th time receiving disgusting food in comparison to what they usually make, we decided to call in. The owner of this establishment, Danny, is a rude individual who claimed I was telling 3 different stories, when in fact 3 different people ate the food and told their own story, each saying it was disgusting. The fries were mush and oily, the wings weren't sauced and overdone, in an attempt to salvage our food we tried to put it in the oven, but to no avail.
