McDonald's — Restaurant in Florida

10/13 - Terribly rude and dismissive attitude at drive-in today. Shocking unlike anything I’ve experienced at McD’s. It’s unfair to both the customers and the lady on the drive-in mic if she cannot effectively communicate in English she should not be performing this function. I am an immigrant and my husband is also but we have made sure we can communicate effectively in English. It was incredibly frustrating and she kept getting the order wrong. Then a young man (with a bandana on his head) came and took over taking my order. He said I’ve got your order and I said “great - why can’t I see it on the screen?”I asked twice to see the order as everything had been so confused due to language communication and he would not show the order on the screen. When I pulled up to the window to pay he had a very disdainful demeanor and he was short & rude. I said “what’s with the attitude? The lady could not communicate and furthermore you were rude”! His response was “you are the one with the attitude and you were yelling and I don’t have time for this bullshit.” I was shocked - we don’t speak to each other like this in this little beach town. I support fellow immigrants such as he and the lady prior, but let’s make sure they can communicate - as regards the young man’s attitude he might benefit from a course in customer service.very disappointing. PS Ultimately she/he both got my order wrong!!!...

The most I give a fast food place is three stars.

McDonald's used to be the standard for fast food. I have not had a meal at McDonald's for a year, so I was really looking forward to it.

The Cheeseburger and Big Mac had patties that were as thick or thinner than a Jones Braunschweiger patty. The special sauce did not taste the same and there was hardly any onions or mustard on the Cheeseburger.

And then there were the fries...pasty.

There were noticeably less people working. They had the order screens. It took a while for me to order, it is not my full time job, the food took longer than I remember.

The bathrooms were ok. Not sure how Panera in the same mall can keep their bathrooms cleaner. Must pay the employees more.

If McDonald's is going to degrade customer service this bad and shrinkflate the food to this degree, they might make more profit by bringing back the old vending machines and offer sliced deli meat sandwiches and a microwave... you know, the fast-food of tomorrow.

For you youngsters into Marvel, it is like the pie...

They served Soured Tea this am . Went back thru to get another Tea which they gave me another and it was soured. Well the girl got upset that I said the new tea was also soured. I said it’s not worth saving leftover tea because if old tea is added to it the new tea it will be ruined too. I guess she went and said something to a manage and there was another girl standing there looking at me. I said it’s okay just give me a coke instead . She said can you pull up . Please all she had to do is get the coke . I wasn’t going to pull up . She was standing doing nothing anyway . The girls has always been so polite . This new one that was there in the Orange and White Uniform with Long Dark hair was extremely rude. I let them keep their Coke . Not much English but you can be polite if you can’t understand . All you have to do is smile. It’s McDonalds...
