Hi, I would like to be anonymous. This is the last time I am going to this restaurant, I'll drive a little further, into Viera if got a craving for McDonald's. That's another thing, I rarely visit the place, it used to be all the time, now it is like back in the day, once in a blue moon. Went there this morning. I guess they got new staff. Silence at the speaker. Just before leaving, a lady hisses: "What u want?" - should have been an indicator right there, but, I was lazy. Gave the order, $25.xx, just a coffee and some breakfast items, so it is not cheap. Pulled up. Lady ripped the card out of my hand, closed the window and took about a minute and a half for her to return the card. I called up my bank later on and explained what happened, they are sending me a new card. McDonald's will still get their money, it is a legit purchase, but the card could have been compromised. Pulled up to the window. Closed window. Sat there for 3 minutes, thought about just leaving, window opened, hand reached out, barely outside the window, with the coffee, that was prepared very incorrectly. This was a standard coffee from their menu, they managed to mess it up. Waited another two minutes for the food. Not a single word, again, had to reach over to pick up the food - and the big joke was, I was average distance to the window. No big deal, just odd. What positive can I say about this? Well, I am financially well off, so, I do feel bad about them slaving away in the kitchen and I got to listen to three songs in peace. I am not sure who was mean to who? Did I eat the food and enjoy the coffee? No, food was given to the dogs when I got home, poured the coffee out in the parking lot, made myself some hearty breakfast myself and a fruit smoothie. It was an inconvenience at most, just wanted to spread the word, there are unfortunately some miserable people out there...
Read moreHave you ever wondered what's the unsafe limit of pepper? No? Me neither, not until I ordered a quarter double pounder from McDonald's over ubereats. The amount of PEPPER they put on my burger is to the point that I think this is an actual safety and health hazard, which is a new one for me. I expected to get something that tasted like a regular cheeseburger, you know the one with the thin patty, but when i bit into it? PEPPER. ONLY PEPPER. They put it UNDER THE PATTYS, they put it ON THE BUNS, IN THE MUSTARD, EVERYWHERE. Take a bite? PEPPER. ANYWHERE you try to eat out of this THING, PEPPER.
I cannot, and by god i cannot stress this enough, there is so much pepper in this burger, that a single bite has now led me to dryness of throat and coughing for the past 20 or so minutes. Im not sure if they bought Ronald back from the dead in an evil manner to assist in creating this monstrosity, but holy hell, this is by god the worst burger I've ever had in my LIFE, and there's a reason I only eat at McDonald's once a year. This solidifies it. I think even airport burgers are better than this, or any burger place for that matter. There are many more McDonald's near this one if you really want to go to McDonald's, please for all things holy go to those instead of this one.
Never in my life have I wanted or think I would have experienced the...
Read moreThis location food wise, is good double sided kiosk ordering system. Others of similar size usually 3. With one of the sides out of order and the cashier busy handing out food it was difficult to get your order taken and near impossible to get questions answered until they came to them register.
The technology has changed the way that the counter workers interact. In the past with order takers stationed, they explained and answered questions in a matter of fact but friendly manner.
Today with the person floating it was probably more efficient for the franchise, but the workers sense of urgency conveyed stress and maybe even some aggravation with customers when answering and guiding were required for a customer. Didn't see any smiles, no sense of gratefulness for the customer having been there.
They were NOT Angry but were either flat in their affect or perhaps pained in expression. It's like the order kiosk, broken as it was, were being asked to be the smiling face of McDonald's.
Sad day today, for me and I feel most of the workers and guests that were not engaged in private conversation with friends that joined...
