Ordered DoorDash for pickup. We ordered at 3:58pm for a 5:45pm pickup time. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:35pm sat at the bar and asked about our pickup order. We were told by a female bartender that they don’t have any orders and that they shut off online ordering. We showed proof of our order confirmation in email form and on the DoorDash app. She went to the back to inform the manager and gave us no updates. After a few minutes we were handed an order that was not ours. We informed the same bartender of this, and she took the order back after telling us for a second time that the food is being prepared. Another actually helpful gentleman bartender came over to help and doubled checked that we ordered from the correct location and that we had payment verification. He went back to the kitchen and upon his return he told us that they were making the food and that the manager would get us squared away. Another 10 minutes go by with no food and finally the manager arrives. He again asks us to confirm that we have a confirmation email and receipt. We show the email receipt, DoorDash app confirmation, and the accepted charge on our credit card app. We told him we placed the pickup order ahead of time, and he states that they do not take scheduled carry out orders. We explained that DoorDash allowed us to do it and that we have paid. He states that he’ll make the food and get us taken care of again! After another 15 minutes the manager returns, no food in hand. He states that he’s called corporate and that they do not have the order in their system and that he cannot let us have the food that’s supposedly been being made for over 40 minutes at this rate. We asked if there was some way to contact DoorDash on their end, to which he replied that there is no contact to be made. I am a restaurant manager myself and know for a fact that every corporation that operates on the platform has a contact to DoorDash to help in these types of situations. Your staff and most importantly the manager on duty told us to our face that the food was being made for over 30 minutes, only to find out that instead he was trying to find a way to prove us wrong about our order that didn’t come through your system. This is completely out of line. Your manager actively refused business instead of taking care of a guest that could prove that we properly placed the order and paid for it. Might want to look into the way your customers are treated, because this is why the rating of this location is 3.6 stars! We’re now scrambling on the Friday evening on the 4th of July to find a place that will accept our $200 or more of business as we are a group of 12 adults and kids visiting from Cincinnati, Ohio trying to enjoy our last meal in town. Read moreOur waitress was very helpful and attentive. I like the decoration and layout of the restuarant. It had indoor and outdoor seating, but the music was very loud. The chips and salsa were a serve yourself for a per person charge. This is the first time I've seen something like this and thought it was an interesting concept. For appetizers, we ordered a guacamole and queso. The queso had lots of flavor and seemed to be a generous portion. The guac was a beautiful green on top, until you dug down into and found the older grayish guac. It seemed like they had some older guac and threw fresh stuff on top. Also, it didn't have much flavor. The group ordered a variety of different tacos. I was surprised that most of the tacos are a la carte and pretty expensive ($6-8 apiece). I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos and 1 shrimp taco. They arrived and were a mess. The corn tortilla was nice and pliable but greasy. The barbacoa each had been doused in a bad BBQ sauce. It made it tough to actually taste the little bit of meat in each taco. The shrimp taco had 2 shrimp and was just bland. The ingredients, which sounded great on the menu, just didn't deliver the flavor. When I receive the final bill, I was a bit displeased to notice a "CC Adjustment" of $3.54 as I paid with a credit card. Overall, I felt the experience fell a little flat...
Read moreI very rarely give reviews but I just had to on this one. Food wasn’t terrible but not good either. Even with good service the food quality would not bring me back.
We were seated promptly, but that may have been the highlight of the experience.
We were here for two hours, most of which was waiting.
Silverware wasn’t on the table and took 20 min to get delivered once we asked once food was given. Food was getting cold by the time we could eat.
Ordered beer, first one took 20 min. Ordered a second, it took over an hour. When it was finally delivered waitress said it wouldn’t be billed as an apology. It was on our bill.
I ordered fajitas, only two small tortillas came with it and I had to ask for more, and wait another 20 min.
We asked for to go boxes. Waited 15 minutes and they never came. Ended up leaving most of the food on the table and leaving because we had been there too long and honestly the food wasn’t worth taking home anyway.
Positives: Convenient location, waitress was very friendly and funny.
Negatives: Pretty much everything else. Spend your money elsewhere. I honestly felt bad leaving a tip because it likely reinforces...
