Jonah Allen Art Gallery — Attraction in Alys Beach

I have been a supporter (and friend) of Jonah's since early on. I have multiple pieces that all bring me joy but my absolute favorite is the custom piece I had done for my home I renovated on Eastern Lake. I knew I wanted a larger scale statement piece to bring the home to life. We took a beautiful image of Jonah's and split it into two for a unique, custom diptych which allows the wave to "flow" through the window that was awkwardly in the middle of the wall. This allows the room to feel unified and also truly brings a sense of ease and peace when looking at it. The water is really special to me and allows me to release any tension I may have. I love how this work of art can do the same for me in my home simply by looking at it. I also appreciate how the majority of the work/waves themselves are shot here locally right by my home on Eastern Lake, Seagrove Beach and for the fact he allowed me to be part of the creative process in finding the perfect fit...

✨I had the privilege of experiencing Jonah Allen Gallery’s Ballet of the Pink Meanie and it left me speechless. His ability to capture the rare Pink Meanie jellyfish and transform it into breathtaking art moved me deeply. 🌊

After 5 years of photographing the Emerald Coast from the air 🚁, Jonah curated more than 400 pages from nearly 50,000 images, less than 1% made it into the book. It’s a stunning tribute to the ever-changing beauty of the Gulf Coast and a perfect addition to any home. 📖💙

My family and I were visiting Santa Rosa Beach on 30A from Nebraska and had been following Jonah Allen’s amazing artwork on Instagram prior. We decided to visit Jonah’s Art Gallery in person while we had the opportunity and it was just incredible! He captures all the natural beauty found in and around the Emerald Coast. We were lucky enough to meet Jonah in person that day and he was incredibly welcoming and willing to chat about his artwork and experiences. Not to mention his Doodle puppy was there to entertain my two daughters much to their excitement the whole time! Highly recommend supporting his work and taking a piece home if you can.
