There are so many healthy places to eat in Miami. This WAS one of them.
SAD THING IS that if you so happen to experience bad service from one of their employees, just go to Miami Juice in Sunny Isles, because that employee will stay working there.
I had an incident where an employee treated me so badly, it ruined my entire day! First, she tried to charge me double at the cashier. If I wasn't careful, I would've given her way more than the actual meal.
She pretended it was an accident, but I spoke to her very clearly, and spoke in Spanish, which happens to be her first language.
I made the biggest mistake when I chose to look past that.
After patiently waiting for my meal and finding a comfortable seat in the back sitting area, she began to use a leaf blower! The back seating area is open, designed to let in a lot of breeze. As I was eating my food and drinking my smoothie, I saw DUST FLY EVERYWHERE. This was in the morning. I kindly asked the employee to stop and she REFUSED, telling me "it's all in your head". THE ENTITLEMENT.
I'm forced to think she must've knew Miami Squeeze needed her in some way, because the level of disregard was insane!
The following day I spoke to a manager, who connected me to one of the owners and after explaining what happened, I was given an apology and told that she would be taken care of. The owner said that the employee did not represent the restaurant, and that she would probably not be working there anymore.
After a week, the employee returned. She stuck her nose up at me and refused to help me, making another employee run to the cashier to take my order, acting as if she didn't see her co-worker look at me that way.
I felt used. Yes, I am just one patron. I really don't make a difference, but I did feel the need to write a review about this because maybe if I say something, Miami can slowly become a better place in terms of customer service. Young workers seem to have taken over, and it's changing the way customers view businesses because one painful encounter can really ruin your day. Miami is already a tough city to live in, my favorite part is The People, because I know so many good people here.
Miami Juice in Sunny Isles has always taken good care of me. From the busboy to the Managers. I never needed to meet the owners, but if I did, I would thank them for having one of the richest work environments because it really shows!
Miami Squeeze, I was loyal to you. I feel like you lied to me just to keep getting my business. I'm not sure what's happening on the back-end, but the way your employee treated me REPELLS me from your business and I will let everyone I know, know alternative health spots because nobody, especially my loved ones, deserves to be treated like that. P.S I have recorded the conversation the...

1:24 PM - Order placed via getsauce.com
1:28 PM Arrived at Miami Squeeze
1:30 PM waited in line to walk up, asked for my order and the owner stated “2 mins.”
1:46 PM I noticed a gentleman that came after me got his entire order before.
I walked up and Christina look up my order, did something and then mentioned “we’ll get you your order shortly.”
1:50 PM I walk back up in line, asked for the gentleman’s name who said “2 mins” and he said his name was Fabrizio and Christina was next to him.
I mentioned that I was finding it rather difficult that when I first got here, he said it was going to take 2 mins.
And it wasn’t until Christina who looked up my order something began to happen.
My observation was that there was no acknowledgement as I stood in front of the entire restaurant when now 2 mins turned into 20.
Fabrizio said, “that’s what they told me in the back.”
The sad part here, zero accountability for actions.
Then he raised his voice and said, “I’m the owner here and I know what’s going on. Respect my place!”
I proceeded to walk away while the look on Christina’s face was astonished.
1:52 PM Christina walks up to me and apologies in his behalf.
1:54 PM Fabrizio was pointing in my direction while speaking with Christina.
1:57 Christina walks up and confirms order.
1:58 PM I got my order and Christina mentioned to apologize again and share on her behalf she welcomes me again.
Miami is known for poor service.
Maybe from untrained employees it sometimes happens.
BUT, to get that level of service and attitude form a decision maker or business owner is terrible.
The ONLY reason why is getting this is 2 stars are for specially for Christina. She’s really a 5 for recognizing the situation, taking responsibility, and apologizing for the circumstances.
And a full 0 stars for Frabizzio as an owner to share that level of service in front of customers, staff, or potential new business.
I also called back to get the correct spelling and a gentleman answers.
I asked for the owners name and he said the owner name is Saad or Siad.
The person I was speaking with went by Mr. Levy.
Whoever the owner is, just know, though we are neighbors, I’ll never spend another dollar with you ever again.
I’d rather go out my way to pay for better service.
Thank you Fabrizzio to share your level of character.
Christina, I trust a world of success because of your mannerisms...
Read moreI would not recommend my worst enemy dining at Miami Squeeze, and this comes after dining here consistently for a year. Here's why:
*Overall dining experience: -For a smoothie, expect to wait an average of 15-25 minutes for your smoothie to be prepared. (When I first started going to Miami Squeeze, average wait time was about 5 minutes. On a recent visit, I waited more than 20 minutes for a smoothie. When questioning an employee why it was taking so long, they said they had a big dining party in the back and didn't have enough kitchen staff to make the smoothie. I asked for a refund and left. I wanted to give them another shot though because I understand that everyone has a bad day at work sometimes.
*Food/drink quality: -I really liked the location of Miami Squeeze (it's near one of the fitness studios I use) and the price is great for the size and varieties of smoothies. However, in the last few months, the quality of smoothies have diminished and the cleanliness of the restaurant has decreased.
*Management response to issues: -In September, I dined for what will be my last time at Miami Squeeze. I parked near the dumpster and came back to my car and when I was getting ready to leave, Miami Squeeze's dumpster door flew open (an employee didn't properly close the latch to the door) and slammed into my car (creating a dent in my car and scratching the paint). I brought it to my server's attention (Warren) and he apologized and told me earlier in the day a customer had the same problem that I did and the dumpster flew open and smashed out the other client's car window. He apologized and said he would bring it to the owner's attention and obtained my contact information. I didn't hear anything for days from the owner, and called back into the restaurant and spoke to Warren. Warren said the owner didn't want to talk to me and said there's nothing they could do except for offer me a free meal. But this doesn't fix my car though! I asked to have the owner call me and Warren said he couldn't share the telephone number for the owner, but would take my number and maybe they would call me back.
So for all of these reasons, I would not recommend anyone dining here. I definitely...
