Sr. Ceviche Aventura — Restaurant in Aventura

I’d previously rated 5 stars. I love this restaurant, it has great food. It also has some really great servers, Sebastian, the girl with dark hair who has been here a while, and another gentleman who was been there a while are all great. However, I just had an experience that I’ve had before. I ordered food, it came out wrong, not that big a deal. HOWEVER, my server did not check on me, or even look my way, for about 7 minutes. There were 3 tables (including me), none of which were were large parties, in the restaurant and atleast 2 servers. There was no reason for that kind of service. By the time the issue was fixed and I had my food, I’d been sitting for almost 50 minutes, not something you expect when you want to grab a quick lunch, especially when you’re not ordering something that takes a while like steak. As a costumer, even though I want the food, I choose other places sometimes because I don’t want to factor in the time of the possibility for bad service. This is something if I was the owner I’d want to be aware of. I’ve worked in restaurants where they tell servers to check on the costumer shortly after getting the food, to make sure they like it and there isn’t anything else they want. Inexperienced servers might not know this, so maybe some better server training would help.

I love treating myself to lunch, but I just spent 42 dollars to be completely disappointed. I didn’t even eat there cuz by the time she’d fixed it it’d been so long I had to go. So next time I eat out, I’m going to ask myself why would I go to a place with great food and unreliable service, when I could go to a place with great food and reliable service. It’s such a small issue, in such a wonderful place with amazing food, that I think could be very easily fixed. The servers there I’ve had who have disappointed me were all very kind, they just genuinely seemed a bit clueless. Although I’ve had more than one experience as I had today, I’ve also had a lot of great ones. I just wish it was...

I wish I can give you 0 start this was very disspointted restaurant , they certainly have bad customer service with pricy food the would not meet your expections. As peruvian you expect authentic food it took over 1 hour to bring their famous exampler Sr Ceviche the it cost $55 . The server no where to be found , no even ask us if we want some drinks I have to eat this meal less 10min because we have attend a ceremony.

Usually when is delay with your meal the waitress will notify you and specially after they see you asking 3 times for the delay they should call a Manager ,she wasn't even available to give my ticket I have to ask other server. They really go beyond to make you feel back in Peru with Zero customer service .

The food nothing special at least you expect a great food to compensate the bad experience not even that the papa a la Huancaina and ocopa horrible supposse to come with ceviche they place otherthing that was not even good .I ate much better in other peruvians restaurants for better price with better customer service. this is not recommend place to go you better of going other restaurants they deserve Zero starts. if you planning to make reservation forget it! there is not even a host or server...

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME, WE LIVE AND WORK CLOSE BY BUT HAVEN”T HEARD OF IT UNTIL A COLLEAGUE RECOMMENDED IT TO US.

WE SEARCHED FOR IT IN GROUPON AND FOUND A GREAT DEAL SO WE DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY, AND WE DON’T REGRET IT.

FROM THE TIME YOU WALK IN YOU ARE GREETED BY THEIR SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF, THE WHOLE RESTAURANT LOOKS IMPECCABLE AND SUPER CLEAN, WE EXPLAINED TO OUR WAITRESS THAT IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME THERE AND SHE DIDN’T HESITATE TO OFFER US SUGGESTIONS.

WE TRIED THE CEVICHE CLASICO AND MARISCO SALTADO WITH A PAIR OF COLD CUZQUEÑAS, EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING.

GREAT FOOD, SUPER TASTY AND PRICE WAS RIGHT.

WE MADE IT BACK DIEGO WAS OUR WAITER THIS TIME AND WE CONFIRMED THAT THE SERVICE IS GREAT HE WAS ON TOP, THIS TIME AROUND WE GOT THE CEVICHE DE ROCOTO AND JALEA (FRIED SEAFOOD AND YUCCA) PAIRED WITH PERUVIAN CUSQUEÑA AND IPA. WE ARE DEFINITELY COMING BACK.
