Mood Hookah Lounge and Bar — Restaurant in Florida

The biggest issue for me is when the server brought the check it seemed kinda high so I made her bring and Itemized receipt. There was a $13 difference between what she first wanted me to pay and what the itemized receipt showed. There was no explanation but I noticed that the machine when she first brought it was set for payment and not for tip plus payment.

The second issue was that the hookah sucked. The first one tasted like charcoal and the hookah guy who set it up didn’t believe me. He changed it for another flavor that tasted burned within 5 minutes. We didn’t even ask to change cause we were over it.

The third issue was that the service was subpar at most. We waited 15 mins at one point for our server to come back and that was after I flagged someone else down. She was sitting at the bar vaping.

The last issue is the drinks suck. For $12 a drink I expect it to be good and taste semi like vodka. It did not.

The only good thing was music. It was a good mix of hip hop and Spanish that played to everyone’s liking.

For $90 after tip I would’ve expected to have a quality service but that was not the case at all. I probably won’t...

Stopped by on a Thursday night with friends who were visiting from out of town. The place was nearly empty, which wouldn’t have been a problem if the atmosphere or service made up for it—but neither did. The only music playing was reggaetón, and while that can be fun for a bit, the same beat over and over got old quickly.

We weren’t greeted when we arrived, despite the lack of other customers. We ordered a hookah, which took about 15 minutes to arrive. When it did, something was clearly off—it seemed packed incorrectly or not enough shisha in the bowl as no smoke was being produced. We asked for it to be fixed, and it took another 10 minutes. During this time, we weren’t asked if we wanted any drinks or anything else.

To make it worse, the staff member seemed more focused on a guy she was hanging out with (they were sharing pizza) than actually doing her job. It felt like we were intruding on her date.

I was verbally assaulted last night by someone there, discriminated against, and verbally harassed, you don’t treat people like this, it was black party and it was a private party, she discriminated against my Spanish friend and said we don’t want your kind hear. Adios muchachos. I do not appreciate getting verbal abuse when we just walk in and don’t know it’s a private party we don’t know what is happening and we get verbally assaulted, then she said no ticket no enter, so ask ok how much are the ticket then she said oh no no hell no and I am just confused she keep saying it’s a private party it’s a private party, we don’t know anything we just walk in there was no security by the door, it was around 9:40 pm Saturday October 4th, I don’t know what is going on in this establishment but it doesn’t look good, I hope it gets reported...
