I really wanted to like this place. Reviews seem good, and I wanted a decent Chinese place in Citrus County. But I am still on the hunt for a decent Chinese place in Citrus County. The restaurant was not busy. Most of the wmpty tables were dirty and the watress said to pick a table and add that she would clean it. The waitress was not very attentive and had no attention to detial. Our soda we took two sips of because it tastes like pure chemicals. We asked for them to give us lemon water instead, and the waitress forgot the lemons. The waitress brought us our appetizer, which was fried dumpling. The waitress had her fingers into he top of the bowl of the sauce and her finger went in the bowl of the sauce. The dumplings were slimy and wet. This was the last straw, so we decided to leave. On the way, I noticed there was a kid running in and out the kitchen barefoot. Even though we barely had two sips of the soda, they wanted to charge us for both. I have never left a restaurant before the main 6 it was so unsanitary that I could not trust it. I would not recommend this to my enemy. I'm not sure why this restaurant has decent reviews, but...

After nearly a decade of loyalty, I can confidently say Mr. Wang’s has completely fallen off. What used to be a reliable go-to spot is now a mess of mistakes, lies, and sketchy behavior.
I’ve received the wrong order multiple times. On one occasion, they even called me back after I had already picked it up, made me go through the back door, and then gave my food to someone else—yes, my order was recycled to cover up their mistake. The worst part? They lied straight to my face about it.
I ordered through DoorDash and was denied my food altogether—again, more excuses, more lies. The quality is wildly inconsistent, and some days the food tastes like it sat out too long. To top it off, the back of the restaurant is filthy—absolutely disgusting conditions that would fail a health inspection.
Don’t waste your money or your stomach. Mr. Wang’s isn’t what it used to be, and it’s clear they don’t care about...
Read moreRestaurant is 7 miles from our house, how convenient is that. Had an earlier dinner, it being New Year’s Eve figured we beat the crowd. Walked in and it wasn’t that busy yet. Our waitress was very sweet and took our order. She brought our egg drop soups and they were hot and very tasty. Next up, our fried meat dumplings appetizer came and they were just delicious. By then the restaurant got busy and people coming for carry outs. We waited awhile for our dinners, our waitress was very apologetic to us. When they arrived,it was well worth the wait. I ordered House garlic chicken with white rice medium hot. It was a large portion and very excellent I must say. Husband ordered Shrimp with Lobster sauce and it was full of good size shrimp and very tasty, he loved it. Prices were reasonable for what you got. We will come back again, maybe tomorrow, we really enjoyed our dinner and employees were very...
