Mucho Taco — Restaurant in Florida

Just moved into the neighborhood and finally got to try this place.

TDLR: I couldn't take pictures because the food was gone. (will update later!) So good! Will be going back ASAP.

I had the number 12 (bistec a la Mexicano). It blew our minds! We love all kinds of different food, so it is rare for us to be so pleasantly surprised with a dish with so much flavor and quality. Even the rice and refried beans (which are bland most places) were well seasoned and delicious. The corn tortillas smelled incredible and held together well and didn't fall apart. We loved it and have had thoughts about going back for dinner to try more things!

Total gem of Fort Myers. The server was bilingual which was super helpful. She was very kind and service was prompt. The restaurant was clean and they have multiple ServeSafe Certificates as well which is super cool.

Their taco salad is amazing. You can get it with chicken, pork, or beef, but I always get it with beef. It is so delicious and it always fills me up perfectly without leaving me wanting to eat something else. I always get a small fountain drink with it, and my total is about $10.75 or so. I also like their enchiladas. But for whatever reason, their corn tortillas are from a package; you can taste that nasty package flavor if you know what I'm talking about. Any dish that has fried corn tortillas is OK, because packaged tortillas fry up nicely, but just don't get anything with an unfried corn tortilla. The flour tortillas are good though. I gave five stars though because I know what dishes to order and I don't order anything with unfried corn tortillas. Just keep in mind that around lunch hour on weekends it gets really busy, so seating is a little hard to come by at...

We chose the Mexican restaurant that was closest to our new home. We were skeptical when saw that their sign was not lit up at 8:30pm. The sign said OPEN, so we walked inside. There were people everywhere, on a Monday night! That was a good sign. My wife and I order fajitas to eat in. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. The vegetable were perfect. However, the meat could use a little marinating and seasoning. The beef was tough and the chicken was pretty dry and tasteless. The shrimp was excellent.
