Nature Coast Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Florida

Made the drive straight through to Florida and arrived in this small town of Hammosassa Florida that I knew nothing about. Pulling multiple trailers and heavy equipment I arrive at this place in search of a good home cooked meal. I walked in and they informed me the kitchen was closed at 9pm. I walked back out to my car pretty dissapointed. The owner caught wind of it,came and grabbed us and told us to come back in and told me they would keep the kitchen open just for us. Keep in mind I had just drove straight from Texas. Relieved ,exhausted and appreciative we sat down and I ordered everything I could on the menu. After all...if they are going to keep the kitchen open for us I want them to make some $$$ in the process. What followed was a mouth watering experience in cooking. I don't think I have ever had a burger that good at a restaurant. This was like Home Cooked BBQ good. And the Grouper Burger. We ordered hot wings and froed mushrooms. Whoa! I'll make the drive or flight just to come eat here again. We were so please and thankful for the hospitality. Great family environment. Thank you thank you thank you for such an amazing experience. From Texas to Florida Thank you! Thank you 1000 times to the owner. You are a great person. If your traveling to this area....Do not sleep on this place. We really cannot say enough great things about The Coast! First, the new owners have done a FANTASTIC job making the place beautiful! We absolutely love the tranquil outside patio and the new pontoon stage is such a clever addition! We cannot wait to see the entertainment that the stage brings! I love sitting by their little pond, having a cocktail, and talking to the awesome people that hang there! Second, the staff is super friendly and accommodating and the bartenders always make great drinks! Try the Blueberry vodka drink on the new specialty cocktails menu…it’s bomb! The specialty cocktail menu was so cleverly named and designed! I love it! Third, the owners are the most caring and awesome salt of the earth kind of people! They are so friendly and welcoming! This restaurant is definitely a labor of love and it shows! Last, the food is not an after thought! They have such a great menu and their kitchen staff should for sure be patted on the back! We dream of their burgers and we are burgers eaters for sure! Nice and juicy! The PERFECT burger! I’m not going to lie, I’m a little picky when it comes to restaurants and the Coast wins my heart! Stop in for a great drink, awesome chat, amazing food and even more amazing...

Visited with friends during Thanksgiving and couldn't have asked for a better experience! This bar truly knows how to make the holiday special. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

The drink menu featured a fantastic array of beers and cocktails that were reasonably priced and attentively served creating a lively, hospitable, and enjoyable atmosphere. It was the perfect backdrop for shooting a game of pool, relaxing, and catching up with friends and family.

The service was impeccable. Despite the holiday rush and it being the grand opening, our servers were attentive and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. Kudos to the management for running such a well-organized operation during a busy holiday.

Overall, this bar exceeded our expectations for a Friendsgiving celebration. The combination of excellent drinks, delicious food, and lively atmosphere created a memorable experience for everyone in our group.
