I recently had my first experience eating at this fantastic establishment and it did not disappoint. Oak & Stone is not your typical pizzeria. It's a much more modern take by combining a sports bar and a pizzeria to form a rather unique dining experience. There is seating inside and out with televisions that all can see from every possible angle. There is even cornhole setup outside for those that want to play. The most unique item of Oak & Stone is their serve yourself beer wall. It is quite amazing to look at (check it out on their website). I went with my family for Happy Hour. Getting seated was a little on the slow side because their was only one server on staff at the time. Once we were seated everything progressed quickly. Happy Hour has a $7, $8, & $9 menu. We ordered from all three by ordering the pickle fries, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the cheesesteak egg rolls. Everything looked great and tasted great (check out my photos). I will say that the most disappointing part of the whole meal was the cost of the fountain drinks. A Coke and a sweet tea cost $4.25 while a bottle of Coors was $3.75. I understand that fountain drinks are "unlimited" but a fountain drink should never exceed the price of an alcoholic beverage (discourages potential designated drivers from not drinking something cheaper). All-in-all I will go back because the food is fantastic. But next time I may just get a water instead of a soda.

Went here after having a fun event near the park. Entered without a reservation and was told there was a 20 minute wait, which I didn't mind. However, after 5 minutes waiting outside, I was told my table was ready. A friendly server took my order. While I knew the self serve drinks was the gimmick here, I decided to go with the suggested lavender lemonade (9 dollars), which was a nice drink, but could have used more vodka as it was on the lighter side. For my main meal, I decided to just have the freezer Caesar salad with grilled chicken (13 dollars) as I wasn't in a mood for their pizza. The salad was nothing fancy, but had good amount of lettuce, chicken, and Caesar dressing. It filled me up. For dessert, I took home the banana foster cheesecake (7 dollars), which was good with the caramel sauce, but didn't notice any bananas on the cake. Service was friendly, but it did take some time to get the dessert and bill. The atmosphere had a lot of tvs and beer decorations, and I think there was outdoor seating as well. The TV's were mostly playing the live football games. The music was mostly inoffensive rock music. Overall, it is a nice place near the University area for drinks and food. Plus, it opens till 12am, so it is perfect when you want to eat out late after a fun event from Nathan Benderson Park.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. I saw several other peoples food come out and everything looked delicious. The food is good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The server was very busy but still polite. The self serve beer function is fantastic. When you run out you refill yourself. You can pour a full glass or half or just a taste. They have a glass tinder’s installed along bottom where you put your glass upside down and it shoots water into the glass. I appreciate this function, however I can’t help but note that everyone has had their glass in their mouth and then puts it on the rinser. I would just opt to get another glass. The glasses are also self serve and there are small tables near the taps where you can leave an unwanted glass. There are also six taps outside where the outdoor seating is but all the beers are different inside and out. If you sit at the bar there is a sign you can put in your seat that says “at the beer wall” so no one takes your seat. They also have a full liquor bar and wine.

The beer wall has so much to choose from. It’s nice to be able to try an ounce before committing to a pint. Even the menu is very diverse, we had a picky eater in our crew and they still had trouble choosing what to order. Everyone enjoyed their foods. There was a touch too much salt for some in our party, since they normally cook for themselves. Someone was worried they wouldn’t be able to finish the Ahi Tuna that they considered ordering before leaving on a flight - they ate it right up when it came out. My Turkey BALT (not pictured) took longer to come out than everyone else’s dish. However staff was apologetic. I would recommend this place for a quiet late lunch. They do have a $15 meal deal for weekday lunches - which is a salad, soda and personal pizza. I personally preferred their selection of park ales over the Bourbon Cake. It was a delicious cake in a LARGE slice, that 4 of us easily split. 👌

The pizza was excellent. My partner had the chicken sandwich, which he found very fresh, although the fries were cold. The host was lovely, but the servers seemed annoyed that we were seated in their section. The place closes at 11 pm, and we were seated by 10 pm. I'm not sure what the issue was, but the constant passing by our table without acknowledgment and the interactions with other servers made it clear she was unhappy about having to serve us. It took 10 minutes before anyone approached our table, and the server who finally did was the same one who had walked past us multiple times, which was frustrating. Overall, it's a good place for a quick bite, as long as you arrive within a time frame that the servers find acceptable.

Really great service here, from all staff. The beer wall is great as well, but well overpriced. There’s a big absentee-management problem though. You can tell by the music choices (or lack thereof)… it’s 100% elevator-edm music and that’s just so not fitting. It’s a Saturday at 11:30am. The sun is shining - give us some normal American music (rock, country, hip hop). There’s just very little life here (literally no customers) and it’s because of a lazy franchise chain owned by absentee management. The food menu stinks as well unless you’re 400 pounds, just incredibly low effort put into the menu and that’s obvious and yet again… a management problem. Better options out there but again the in person staff is 10/10
