I can say the location is an old fish house made into a restaurant. The spot is just gorgeous as it sits right on the water near Hudson Beach. We sat outback near the water. Nice spot to relax and watch the local seagulls. Service was good for the most part. I'm sure what the complaints are have nothing to do with her service. She smiled and was friendly trying to make the best of a bad situation. We ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and the beef burrito. I must say the portion sizes of the food is just huge!!! Food was ok but for having to wait for well over an hour to eat, it lacked alot honestly. Burrito was huge but plain. Plain no juice meat with lots of yellow rice and black beans with again not much flavor. Beer was nice and cold as well as their coke products. Grouper was last to come out and was about 15 minutes after burrito hit the table. Fish tasted good and fries were not bad but it was definitely not grouper!! I'd swear I had to wait so long for it because they just ran down to the local winn dixie and grabbed a bag of pollock to cook. Again, was ok but I know my fish and would like to eat what I pay for. Lunch was expensive and quality of the food compared to price.... well it just doesn't pay out honestly. Area was not completely clean but outside is hard to keep spotless so I took that into consideration. Hot sauces and condiment bottles were very old and had filthy rings around the tops of each bottle. Needs some attention but I'm sure they can pull it together. I'll give it another try one day and see if any changes.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the most welcoming staff. It’s a beer/wine place so I asked the waitress on her input on the sangria she said my choices were between white and red. I told her to surprise me since I’m the type that like it all. She recommended the red and the first sip was a punch to my taste bud a punch to another world; extremely good. I had a touch time deciding on what to eat since everything on the menu along with prices were AWESOME!! I chose the dozen raw oysters that were priced at $16. I am an oyster girl and if you follow me on other reviews you will discover as such. Although the oysters were not as wet and gooey as I admire they had zero fishy smell (which means they are good) and they did have a good taste to them despite my likings of the ooey gooey. I also ordered the half stuff jalapeño topped with cream cheese shrimp garlic butter and cheddar cheese served on top of mixed cabbage(raw). I was very impressed of the presentation of the plate. The cabbage was a nice switch up. The pepper could have been cooked at a less temp so it didn’t subdue the flavor of the heat of the pepper but over all very good. I came on a Thursday which is music trivia night. And the over all experience was such a peaceful experience. Did I mention this place is on the water so you get a beautiful view as well. You won’t be disappointed at this establishment.

We love casual, fun dining, and this looked like a potential contender. We wanted to check it out mid-afternoon when it was slower. Zoom in on the photo I posted so that you might feel the sticky, grimy menus and s&p shakers. One of us ordered ceviche. It was a beautiful salsa with one shrimp on top for $9. No Mahi Mahi... no scallops, or other seafood that the menu said was included, etc. I questioned our helpful, sweet server. She took my dish to the chef, he took my one shrimp on top, added a couple more, chopped them up and sent it back with the message, you ordered the last one and that's why there was no seafood in it. I see there could be a potential for this area and establishment. At this time, I've been to so many other better places, the 4 of us have no interest in returning to this one.

Small local bar feel with limited indoor seat and seats at bar. Good beer options and good selection of food for size. Bar and grill are right there together. Tv's all around and a touchtunes music system. Prices are good. Bar is pretty clean but this is more in dive bar category. But this one is a good one.

06/04/20 Stopped by to try and share 3 appetizers. Beef nachos 1/2 order, steamed mussels and baked scallops. The nachos are huge and easily enough for 2 - 4 as an appetizer. Full of meat, chesse, salsa, sour cream, some olives, some jalopinoes, lettuce , tomato and onion. They are excellent. The mussels were excellent and perfectly prepaired. Big, flavor full and not chewy. The baked scallops were very good too. Not chewy and good flavor. On the small side but excellently prepared. These 3 made a good dinner for 3 people. The price is reasonable for quality and quantity. The staff was friendly and answered questions. Our waitress needed to be more attentive for how busy they were because we had to ask her for refills. Could see her talking to chef a lot but by no means awful. This is a dive bar vibe, look and feel 100%. I never felt weird at eating here just know what to expect. Table clean up could be better and the dive bar needs some maintaince. Good place to go on the canal not on the beach. No beer menu so you may need to get up to look yourself. Will go again for they food and a fun dive...
