Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Florida

I just left this place and would like to get the attention of anyone who may have or would like to go here. We were seated right away, but sat about 15 minutes and had to go find an employee because nobody came to ask us for drinks or take our order. A nice gentleman came to us that wasn't supposed to be our server and took care of us. Our food and drinks came out very quickly. My meal was great, but my dates order was wrong. The gentleman took care of it without an issue. Another woman then came to our table and introduced herself as our server and asked if we needed anything. Very confused, we told her no and she walked away. Manager came to our table and apologized and offered a free dessert. We requested the gentleman be our server as he did all the work and we could tip him acc for his service. The manager said she would switch it. The girl kept coming to our table AFTER the gentleman did all the work and asked us if we needed anything.....she also kept taking credit for fixing the mistakes. Everytime she said she'd do something, she'd disappear for 10-15 minutes. We were there for 2.5 hours .... Most of which, was waiting for no reason. We were told by the manager one of our meals would be comped for the mix up, but when the annoying server brought our ticket, not only did she switch it back into her name, she charged us full price so she could get more money. She basically tried to steal from us, and another server. I approached the gentleman and told him what happened and handed him a cash tip, and he fixed our ticket. So the food was good, and our secondary service was good, but our original service was awful. That girl should be fired. Her name was Trinity. Avoid her at all cost. Spare your wallet, and double check your tickets before paying. We will not come back to this location. Manager was somewhat helpful but did not follow through. Very...

Omg! So I am not the one to really complain no really, so we tried to go to Texas Roadhouse but wait was gonna be 2 hours for my daughter's birthday. So call outback and ask how long they said 30 minutes. Ok cool so we all loaded up headed there, get to the place round 7!! Ok so they seat us and id say bought 730 someone finally came to drink orders brought some bread, gave us free onion for issue ok.. as soon as that was done dissapeared for another 40 minutes!! So we had chase someone down to actually place a order. Ok so we place order here's another 30 minutes, one of our party canceled and left! So good finally does come and it's so awful!! One steak is burnt black, 2 others just taste like there some kinda film on it and also cooked so wrong! Ok so remember I said we got here at 7 it's 941 and I'm out in the car and there still in there trying get bill straight as they some expect someone to pay for awfull food no one can even eat. Do yourself a favor just wait the Xtra time it takes to get into roadhouse and avoid outback like the plague!!! If u come on a Fri or sat night just don't say I didn't warn ya!!!! That's all I'm gonna say abought it, we will never in million years step foot back in this place. Idk how to reply to your comment so I'll do it here, unfortunately there will never be a next time. Idk if u the owner was there tonight if not can ask the manager abought it tomorrow. But never in 45 years have i ever had worse service going into a reseraunt! I do hope y'all get it fixed before it's someone else. U don't sit people and don't send a soul to take a drink order or anything for 40 minutes to be a start, then u don't another 40 to take a order for dinner, and cooks really have zero clue how to cook a steak sadly was just bad enough ruined outback forever for me and my family. My friend and i came in for a quick couple of apps and sides and were very disappointed with our server Donte, he lacked all attentiveness and it definitely seemed like he didn’t want to be at work. When he finally came to greet us after 7-8 minutes of waiting at the table, we ordered everything, our two cokes, two sides and two apps. After that, he never came back to check on us or get us refills, even after he asked us what we were drinking in his PASSING by our table. That's all I’m going to say about him bc this review isnt about our bad server. The food runner however carried our entire experience, literally from start to finish. Ethan got our drinks and bread, brought out our sides and even extra butter when we had to ask him bc our server was no where to be found. At the end of our meal, Ethan was basically serving us so we asked him for our check and to which he replied, “ yeah of course, what about Togo cokes?”. Ethan wasn’t even technically our server but he took the initiative to make sure we had a good experience.

Our apps took a little longer bc there was a mixup in the kitchen, we didn’t mind and obviously neither did our server lol he walked past our table at least 10 times, 3 of which were after he asked us about refills… which Donte never brought out btw, we asked the manager when he brought our appetizer (the manager was also great and helped with our experience). Ethan would be a fantastic server and definitely recommend “server” be added as a job code for him. In our opinion, this location is great, we’ve never had a problem here; Donte just didn’t provide the level of service that is expected and usually provided.
