Resort is cool. See my soon-to-come review on the sales aspect of the place. The pizza wasn't great. Most things in a vacation resort are not inexpensive. What I wish these places would focus on is quality. Your spend 20 bucks on a pizza and you'd think it would be great in some way or endorsed by a famous chef perhaps. This place grosses nearly a million bucks (per unit) and everything you purchase in addition is expensive. Example: Cruise ships sometimes offer specially things which bear the name of someone famous like "Guy's Burgers." That dude knows food. With all the money these timeshare places make, I wish the restaurants and amenities were stellar. They're not. They are average at best. Pizza: not good Wings: very average. Sauce was good but the quality and size of the wings were sub par. I've been an owner here for 15 years and we go because we have to, not because we're impressed by the food and over priced drinks. And the staff...wow. Do they have to announce your food is ready to the entire property? No table service. They scream through a microphone and you have to schlep your food to the table yourself. Need more napkins, sauce, a straw...anything? You have to get up and get it yourself.
So what exactly is the "suggested" 20% gratuity for?
Crooked/beat up pool table there while you wait for your food to be cooked.
My phone is suggesting that I leave reviews for each of the facilities. Check out my other ones. As an owner of the place, maybe we need to go public with these reviews and see if they do anything or...

DISCLAIMER: I am from New Jersey, so I know what I'm talking about; the NY/NJ area is the only place you can get real -quality- pizza. The rest of the resort was actually very nice and I had a great experience. This review is purely focused on Paisan pizza.
I will keep the review simple. I was at the resort for the last week and unfortunately had pizza here twice. I ordered a large pie: half plain, half margarita. What I got was a whole plain pie, where one half had three large tomato slices, a hunk of mozz cheese on top of each slice, and pesto (that I assume came from the supermarket) dashed across it. The "margarita" side was pitiful. The tomato nor the cheese was baked into the pie but rather thrown on top. There was no tomato sauce, and because there was just a plain pie underneath, you couldn't get the mozzarella flavor. It was a total cluster and did not in any way resemble a real margarita pie.
The plain side was bland. Zero flavor because there was zero sauce. It made me sad. The crust didn't support the pie; it was soggy and flimsy. No part of the whole pie indicated to me that fresh ingredients were used.
I feel bad for the people that get pizza here and think that it's good... They don't know what they are missing elsewhere. Can't say how the other food is, haven't tried it. Just don't...
Read moreI did not ever experience paisan pizzeria like this. It was the worst experience that I ever had with them, after being there a few times. I ordered Parmesan chicken sandwich and a meatball sub sandwich with garlic knots. The food took a long time to get to us. Also, the prices was kind of high for what what I ordered. The sandwiches were edible to someone who was really hungry. The garlic knots were high, I only received a few when I asked for a large. I did not eat them because I spit it once I tasted it. It was hard, crusty and didn't even have a gracias flavour. The homemade potato chips were cold and tasted disgusting. I threw them away. But, the food was cold and I could tell it was reheated and straight out of a box. It was not homemade. I asked for extra meatballs for my child and the meatballs did not come with any sauce. I would not recommend going here. Please...
