The food is ok. The staff spends a lot of time talking amongst eachother on the other side of the restaurant. There were only 3 occupied tables but the service was SUPER slow. The waiter (Raz or something close), was great. However, the bartender Jacklyn (or something close) is the cause for the 1 star review. She has an absolutely horrible attitude and has no idea how to mix a drink. I ordered a drink to go but after paying our tab (with a 25% tip), our waiter disappeared. After about 5 minutes, I went to the bar and asked the bartender (Jacklyn) if she made a hawaiian double. She pointed to the other side of the bar and said "it's there". I was somewhat confused and asked if I could grab it. She stated that my waiter had to bring it. I went back to my table. After a few more minutes I went back and asked if she could just give it to me. It was 90° and the ice was melting. She RELUCTANTLY said "in a minute". When she finally grabbed my drink, she set it down on the counter about 10 feet away from me and starts to walk away. Despite her rudeness, I said, "thank you ma'am" like I ALWAYS do. She ignored me. At that point I had enough of her treating me like trash for no reason so I yelled, "THANK YOU MA'AM" and took my $17 watered-down drink. When I walked away she started ish talking about me to the customer behind me who had not witnessed her bad attitude but heard me yell "thank you ma'am". The next day I was in the lazy river and there was another guest talking about how rude she was to him too!!! I hope someone checks the cameras and put her somewhere AWAY from the public because her attitude (to certain people) could not be worse. Although, she is VERY flirty to some people, she acted like it KILLED her to help out her co-worker by handing a customer their drink. No wonder her tip jar only...
Read moreThe only reason I gave this place a 3-star rating is because of the service. The staff were very nice, and our server was helpful and kind. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. It took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it wasn’t great. For example, I ordered a burger with truffle fries for $39 and requested it medium, but it came out well done and dry as a bone. While the flavor was good, it was tough to eat. My girlfriend ordered a 12 oz ribeye with a baked potato for $35, asking for it medium rare, but it was cooked to medium well. The cut of meat was terrible—tough and chewy—and the baked potato was undercooked and hard. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, and I could have made better food at home. To top it off, kids were running around everywhere, making it a horrible experience for a $130 dinner. Then, they added an 18% tip to the bill without mentioning it beforehand; I only noticed after I’d already paid. I won’t be returning...
Read moreThe food the flavor and the atmosphere are all absolutely amazing. I ordered the Coral Reef Cobb salad for an appetizer and the salad was huge, loaded with blue cheese crumbles, bacon, hard boiled eggs, with plenty of greens and other items I'm sure I have forgotten. For my main I ordered a Island Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak came with an aioli that was absolutely delicious and the potatoes were thick and delicious with ample portion. The broccoli was steamed. I ordered the Berry smash bucket drink which was very tasty. Overall the experience was fantastic. Sitting poolside eating dinner while watching people play corn hole and listening to live music and overlooking a beautiful lake. The 6 of us, had not a single complaint about any of the food or beverages we ordered. My one friend is a owner here at the resort and said, "he saved the best for last" as this was our last night here at the resort... I...
