Dear God, I don't think food can get much worse than this. This place comes recommended by the reviews, and even a few locals. Don't. Do. It... 4 adults and a 3 year old child ate here. Or tried to. The chicken tenders were so dry my child wouldn't finish a single one. I took a bite, they were tough like they'd been reheated 4 times and sat out. It reminded me of my poverty days of young adulthood. Back then, you never wasted anything. Not even unsafe stale tough chicken. Then there was the chile relleno. Mush. Absolutely no texture. And absolutely no heat. Might be good food for a dentureless non-spicy eating grandma... but our table couldn't finish it. There was carne asada fajitas... My wife ordered those. Palatable, but not great. Somewhat bland, as far as carne goes. There were other meals but nobody finished, everything was pretty bad. I ordered a beef enchilada and they messed up, even after I reiterated BEEF, and they still brought me cheese enchilada. The cheese was like the same flavor and texture as one of those tostitos jars. It was jar sauce, 100%. At least they started you off with chips and salsa, those were good. Another thing- this is not AUTHENTIC at all. This is the American iteration of mexican food, poorly done at that. And all this went for almost $80! Grandma still paid the server a $12 tip, I was ready to walk out without paying. I have never been so appalled in my life at food quality. Surely the company is surviving on beach proximity single visit customers only, with fake reviews or people that know nothing about mexican food. I had to wait a few weeks to calm down enough to write this review. I was scathing mad in the restaurant. A truly, remarkably bad last meal to conclude our family vacation. Don't be fooled by drunken beachgoer reviews. Cuz that's the only way this place gets 5 stars, besides straight up lying. Look at the pictures.

Stopped in for an unplanned quick dinner and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and served drinks as well as chips, salsa and queso. Food came out about 10 minutes after ordering; very quick! The tacos were a hit with my family, both shrimp and beef. Queso was also great. I ordered the flautas (asada), they were a bit over cooked; flavor was good just a bit too crunchy. Last but not least, dessert! I ordered the fried ice cream and my husband got the churros. We shared both and both were delicious. Would definitely stop in again if in the area!

Now normally I'm one of those guys that says "Never eat Mexican east of the Sabine river. It seemed like they cross the river out of TX and forget what Mexican food should taste like, but these guys figured it out. Delicious fajitas and quesadillas. I cunfused him whit my drink order but he got it right. Thanks for that! Chips y salsa was good and we brought lots home since the portions were large. Fajitas were sizzling when we came out. We'll return for sure. But if you got a boat dock we might come more often.

My Husband and I really like this restaurant the food is usually so good. But last night we went and they put us in this corner table by the bar .Which was ok bc it was nice .but our food was taking forever to come out. I ordered the steak burrito and a cup of tortilla soup, my husband ordered a cheese dip and a puff taco. The cheese dip came out it was very good. My soup never did come out , they brought my soup with my meal . The soup was cold and both of our plates of food was cold . They took it back do you know what they did .they just heated our plates in the microwave the same plates . They were still cold. My second cup of soup was like warm. It was very disappointing .. why would they send out the food warmed up in the microwave instead of making us new plates. That's like eating left overs. It was very disturbing to me. I asked to pay for the cheese dip and our drinks . I left a tip bc it was not our waiter who brought us our food. But it was horrible service. I was just about to order a medium margarita to go with my meal along with my unsweet tea. But when the food came out the second time microwaved I said no we staying here. Why would they not just make it over again. Why would they microwave it. I wonder if they microwave everything bc thealways say the plates are hot becareful. But they did not say that last night .makes u wonder. We will give them another try , it could have just been a bad night for them .I am going to give them the benefit of doubt. Try them for yourselves and see. I will give an update when we return .update we tried again tonight 6/7 /23. I had two hot tamales they were very dry and no flavor I even put hot sauce on them and still no flavor. My husband had a taco no flavor beef burrito no flavor. We will not be back our waiter did not even ask us how our meal was he seemed like we were a bother to him instead of being a waiter no personality at all. Yes my tamales were aweful. This restaurant used to be really good 2 years ago.. yes the prices went up but the food quality went down. It was very disappointing again . Spent 50.00 for cheese dip 2 tamales , one burrito, one taco , one enchilada teo teas . It not worth t he money . They know they have the market bc of being in Perdido and the next closet Mexican rest is in orange beach. So they serve you bad food for...

By far the worst sevice i have ever had in any restaurant I have ever been in! We came here with a group of 7 last night and the wait to get in was not bad only about 10 to 15 minutes. They seated us outside in the cold, the waitress wouldnt take our drink order for 30 minutes and then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to take our food order. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes to finally get our food which not only was wrong but also cold and you could tell it had been sitting out for at least half an hour! And while we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for food the waitress wouldnt come check on us, refill our drinks or even try to take care of us! Once my food came and was ice cold i asked to speak with the manager who never came out. The waiter said he would fix the food and instead of bringing us fresh food he took it and put in the microwave! I asked again to speak with a manager and the waitress said ok, walked off and never came back! After another 20 minutes we got angry walked inside and demanded to speak with a manager. We saw several employees leaning against the bar joking, talking and doing anything but take care of guest. We were met with the waiter again who said no charge and to leave! We will never come back to this sorry excuse of a restaurant! As i said in the first part this is the worst service i have ever recieved at...
