Jellyfish Seafood Restaurant in Perdido Key, Florida, is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of praise! From the moment you step inside, the vibrant coastal vibe sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Let’s start with their sushi selection—pure perfection! The menu boasts an impressive array of fresh, artfully crafted rolls, from classic favorites like the California Roll to inventive specialties like the Perdido Key Volcano Roll, bursting with bold flavors and melt-in-your-mouth textures. Each piece is a testament to the chef’s skill, with pristine seafood and creative pairings that leave you craving more. The appetizer menu is a knockout, and the oysters are an absolute must-try. Served fresh and chilled, these briny beauties are shucked to order and paired with zesty sauces that elevate their natural flavor. Whether you slurp them raw or lightly grilled with a Cajun kick, they’re a delightful start that sets the tone for the meal. Speaking of Cajun and Creole, Jellyfish nails it with a menu that brings the soul of Louisiana to the Gulf Coast. The gumbo is rich and soul-warming, packed with shrimp, crab, and just the right amount of spice. Their jambalaya is a crowd-pleaser, with perfectly seasoned rice, tender sausage, and succulent seafood in every bite. And don’t sleep on the blackened redfish—it’s a masterclass in flavor, with a crispy, spicy crust and flaky, moist fish underneath. The drink menu is where the fun really kicks in! From tropical cocktails like the Key Lime Mojito to their signature Jellyfish Martini—a dazzling, colorful concoction that’s as Instagram-worthy as it is delicious—the bar team knows how to keep the good times rolling. They also offer a solid selection of local craft beers and wines that pair beautifully with the seafood-heavy menu. With top-notch service, a lively atmosphere, and a menu that hits all the right spots, Jellyfish Seafood Restaurant is a must-visit. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado, a Cajun food lover, or just in the mood for a fun night out, this place delivers in spades. I’m already counting down to...

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience where the food is as good as the atmosphere, look no further than The Jellyfish on Orange Beach—and I’m not just talking about the food. Alexis, our server, was the star of the show, and let me tell you, if she were any more attentive, she’d be holding your fork for you.

From the moment we sat down, Alexis swooped in like a customer service ninja, with the uncanny ability to anticipate our needs before we even knew we had them. Drink running low? Boom—fresh refill. Wondering what appetizer to get? Alexis had recommendations ready faster than a jellyfish floats in the Gulf.

And speaking of jellyfish, no, they don’t sting here. Quite the opposite, actually. The food is so good it might as well come with a warning label for addictive flavors. You’ll start with one bite of their shrimp and grits and end up questioning all your past dining choices.

Alexis made sure everything was perfect, from start to finish. I’m convinced she has some sort of sixth sense for when you need something, popping up with just the right touch of friendly banter and expert timing. It’s like she’s the jellyfish—drifting in, delivering exactly what you need, and floating out before you even realized she was there.

Bottom line: go for the food, stay for Alexis. Just be careful, because once you experience this level of service, regular restaurants are going to feel like dining with a...

Our party of three arrived about 5:00pm on a Saturday in January. They were busy but not overly so, and we had no trouble getting a table. It would have been fun to sit outside and watch the sunset, but it was too cold. They offer promotions during the week, but not on the weekends. The service was pretty good although the waitress left dirty plates on the table too long. We ordered a bottle of wine, the Wedge Salad with Chicken, the Creole Shrimp Stack, the Super Shrimp Tempura Roll, the Perdido Roll, and the Unagi Roll. All of the servings were generous. The Wedge was a typical wedge salad although some of the lettuce had brown spots. We have mixed feelings on the Creole Shrimp Stack. The fried risotto was delicious - crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The fried green tomatoes were very dry, and the tomato was too green and fibrous. There were six nice-sized, tasty shrimp, but a couple of them were under cooked and tough. The Unagi roll was unimpressive. It just tasted like rice. The Super Shrimp Tempura Roll was pretty tasty, and The Perdido Roll hit the spot. So, as far as the food goes, it was a mixed bag. For a fairly large restaurant, they only have two ladies and two men’s restrooms, and they are both one-seaters so don’t wait until the...

Dining at The Jellyfish left a lasting impression. I ordered the Bourbon Salmon and it was nothing short of divine. The richness and juiciness of the bourbon drizzled over the salmon created a flavor that was simply heavenly. The salmon was expertly cooked perfectly complemented by the delightful bourbon glaze that added a unique depth to the dish. The presentation was stunning with a generous portion of wilted spinach and creamy mashed potatoes forming the base. The salmon sat atop the spinach, with the fluffy mashed potatoes cradling everything underneath. Each bite brought a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making for a truly satisfying meal. I happened to also celebrate my birthday during my visit, and the staff gave me a complimentary ice cream treat. It was a mix of caramel and chocolate syrup, topped with cocoa pebbles over four scoops of vanilla ice cream. While I enjoyed my meal immensely, it's worth noting that the prices at The Jellyfish have become quite steep. This could be attributed to the growing tourism in the area - something to consider when planning a visit. Despite the higher costs, the quality of the food and the attentive service truly delivered a memorable dining experience.
