Pina's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Went with my wife on a Saturday afternoon after playing at the arcade next door.

This is 100% a family place and it oozes in how the staff treats you. You feel like you know everyone from the second you walk in, everyone knows each other. Hey, you need a pizza? You get a pizza. You want food? We'll take care of you.

Atmosphere was awesome. Good decorations. Clean interior. Bathrooms had two kinds of air dryers AND a towel dispenser. Definitely going the extra mile to make sure we feel nice.

Seating area is pretty standard. About 10-12 benches inside, 2 benches on the outside.

They obviously modernized in the last several years. Black paint covers a lot of the walls, but there's a nice touch where the division between the sitting side and the cooking side is a "storefront," so you're like, sitting outside of a restaurant... inside of the restaurant. That's pretty cool. I don't have a picture, but very unique and I absolutely loved that.

Eating the food? The toppings were fresh, there was the perfect amount of each ingredient, not too much, not too little, and the sausage.... oh goodness the sausage was amazing.

But there was very little sauce. And the crust was crunchy and dry.

I feel with a little extra sauce and a good balance of cooking the pizza, this would have been an 8/10 minimum. Both myself and my wife argued between a 5/10 and a 5.5/10. I gave it a 5, and am sticking to it. Using the ceiling function, I go from 2.5 to 3.0 on Google Reviews.

I'll say this: the entire experience was amazing, and I might have caught them on an off day. I'm going to go again and revise this review once I get another data point. First time coming to place and it was flat out amazing! Everything about this place was a good experience. The place itself isn’t that big with about 10 tables more or less and the kitchen to your right. The good part is that you get to see them make the food right then and there, but the bad part is that if you’re sitting in the first few tables the oven is right there and it could get hot. What I recommend is to sit further back where the oven isn’t hitting so hard. The customer service is amazing in this place the owner herself will greet you, take your order, and even make the pizza. She was super nice and very attentive. Can’t say enough good things about the customer service. Now all of this doesn’t matter if the food wasn’t good right? Well it wasn’t... it was amazing! The rolls were the standard size rolls, but they taste amazing. They put actual garlic and oil on their rolls ( you’d be surprised how many places don’t do this.) Afterwards, I ordered out of curiosity “pizza fries” which are fries layered with what I believe is mazorella cheese, pepperoni, and little bits of bacon. I’m not big on French fries, but these were very good! Afterwards, came the moment of truth which was a medium size cheese pizza. The pizza was delicious the crust was crunchy, it had a good balance of sauce and cheese, and the sauce was just delicious and was definitely not a sauce you get out of a can. The pizza is very similar to my favorite local pizza place just with a little less crisp. In conclusion, I will definitely go here again whenever I’m in the neighborhood and will probably try their Sicilian pizza since it’s new on the menu and I haven’t really had a amazing Sicilian...

I have no choice but to give a one star rating .. but it if zero was an option that would be the way to go. What horrible customer service!!! I placed an order for pizza and was told that it would take up to 45 minutes. After an hour passed I called to check on my order. The woman that picked up the phone told me that the order had not left the store yet and that my address was out of their delivery area. I was never informed of this when I placed the order, in fact the restaurant is only 2 miles from my house. Since the order hadn't even left the store I asked them to cancel my order since I was not going to continue to wait. I was then transferred to a woman who said she was the owner. She told me that I had placed my order 55 minutes ago not an hour and that she would not be cancelling my order. That they were still waiting for the spaghetti to come out of the oven. At that point I told her that I was not going to continue waiting, that I was never told it would take that long. If that would have been the case I would have ordered from somewhere else. She then continue saying I had to accept the order and I couldn't cancel. I reiterated that I did not want the food, she then rudely screamed at me that she would be knocking on my door with the order and I had no choice but to open the door and pay for the pizza. If not she would be calling the cops on me. I have NEVER been treated so poorly, I was NEVER rude just frustrated on the long wait time.
